    Hi,
I joined this site years ago when I bought a 510SMR. Didn't ride it much. (don't like riding on the rode). I recently sold it to by my son a 2012 TXC 250. Haven't had a chance to ride it yet due to the crappy weather up here in Wisconsin. Hope to get out tomorrow.

I'm sure I'll be on here a lot now that we have a bike we ride (and break) a lot...

Hey Guys, I'm new here and new to Husqvarna bikes in general. I'm originally from Vancouver BC, but I'm currently living and working in Calgary. Ive ridden dirt bikes off and on for 18 years and have been riding street bikes for the last 6 years. This will be my first offroad bike in the last 5 years, so I'm excited to get out in the bush. Going for a trip with a few friends in the beginning of May, hopefully after I'll be able to post some nice pics of the bike and maybe have a few stories to share. :applause:

    Cheers,

    Hi everybody,
I'm new to the forum and new to Huskys. I'm a 20 year old Law&Justice student from New Jersey. I first started riding when I was 9 or 10 on a Tomos 50cc dirt bike. Had some really good times back then on that bike. Moved before my first year of high school and had to sell the bike. Ended up moving around 3 or 4 times during high school, didn't have another bike until my senior year of high school. Worked very hard my senior year to buy my first street bike, a Ducati Monster. Found out my dad used to ride and hadn't had a bike since college. He caught the bug and bought his first bike in over 25 years. I've since sold my Monster and bought a 2006 TE510 supermoto conversion. Along the way I've converted a few friends into riders and had a lot of fun helping them out.
I'm starting a motovlog soon, because I have way too much to talk about. These bikes are my obsession now so you'll probably see me posting quite a bit.

Looking forward to getting to know some of you guys,

    Ryan

Greetings everyone. First, I don't own a Husky...but I've been lurking around the forum (and TT) for a while trying to learn as much as I can before such a big purchase. I'm looking at buying a new '13 TE350...I like the idea of a plate to link trails, low weight, and price ($6k). I recently sold a '05 CRF250X (not enought power), and currently ride a WR450F (great power but way too heavy). I ride mostly Southern California desert (Dove Springs, Cal City, Ridgecrest ect) and am wondering how those that own '12/'13 TE350's are liking the bike. Specifically, how does it compare to other bikes you've owned. I'm a bit concerned about the close ratio trans...what are your thoughts for the type of riding I do? Also, what gearing did you end up with...seems like 13/45-13/50 is what most run. I would really appreciate any advice before I spend a good chunk of money on a new bike and upgrades. Also, what shops in Southern California do you recommend to take care the the efi issues/upgrades? Thanks for any and all advice.

G'day. I joined ages ago but didn't realise there was a welcome intro yourself section so..... I'm from Oz (if you hadn't worked it out) and I own a SM610. Seriously, this is a great site and has been (and continues to be) very useful to me, so a big thanx!

Hi Peeps! I'm Dale and in Ohio. I recently bought a '73 CR250 Husky as I have owned several husky's over the years. I got it pretty cleaned up and some paint but she'll be a racer. As the magazine in '73 or '74 said "Monark, Swedens other motocrosser", I had one of those when I was 17. The one I have now I have owned for about 15 years and did race it in '99 at vintage days at Honda Hills, Ohio. I have been lurking and enjoy this place.

Hi all, my name is Bill and I'm from south east Michigan (Pinckney). I just purchased my first Husky, an 04 TE450. I've been seriously riding for about 5 years (93 XR250) and absolutely love it. Mostly single track but some ORV trails and fire roads also. The Husky needs some TLC and I look forward to setting it up for some serious single track riding. I've found ton's of useful info in this forum so thanks.

    Hi there
My name is Gav and bought my first Husky earlier this year. Brand new TE 449 2011 model (old stock). Had first trip up the hills the other day and well it was the best. This forum helped me make the choice to buy the TE and not regretting it one bit. Thankyou very much!

    Hi!

I'm Riz from Jakarta, Indonesia. Picked up a 2011 SMR 630 (New old stock) the other day. I was swaying towards the WR250 but the SMR was discounted and I couldn't resist. And I already had a (homemade) woods bike, so SMR it is.
Pretty happy with the test ride in the parking lot and can't wait for it to get delivered this weekend.

Downside now is that I live in an apartment...3 bikes is breaking the parking lot regulation. I'll see how long I can get away with it, and if they catch me, either the Vespa or the scrambler has got to go!

Oh yea, the horn on the "brand new" SMR ain't working...the dealer seemed confused but promised to fix it before delivery. Not that I'll be using it, but I hope they do...anyone else had pre-delivery part failures?

    Hello,
I Dale from upstate NY. I've been riding for about 40 years. I rode a few huskies back in the 70's. Now I'm into vintage bikes and I have a 73 360wr/rt and a 76 360wr. I have an old penton and a puch too. I ride modern harescrambles and enduros around my area. Looks like a great site. I'm sure I'll be looking for some vintage info on here.
