I was looking in TT just last week, I could not get over all the BS that is going on. I enjoy good positive reading like we see here at the Cafe. Keep up the great work guys. Jon

Hi all, My name is Dean. I live in Connecticut where off road riding is all but outlawed. Not easy to find good riding here. I've had a couple Husq WR360's in the past and just sold my 2001 a few months back. Looking at a TR650 now for some dual sport and camping opportunities. There's some good stuff just over the Mass or NY border. Hope to post some pics and ride info here soon. Anyone know of some good riding in this area feel free to send a message. C ya soon....! Update.... Got it today... 70 miles and counting. a blank canvas... many mods to come.. Thanks for all the great info on this site...
Hello All, Andy here from UK. Strange story that lead me here, but true...... At 45 years old i had not riden a bike in anger in over 30 years, raced some motorcross at school when i was 12-13 years old, owed a 08 Yamaha WR450 for 7 months in 2010 rode it on the road 3 times for a total of 26 miles, sold that as not so fun riding on your own!. Was out for a beer or two with a few pals about month ago and they talked me into a riding holiday in Morroco in October with a company Trail Blazers.com. Apparently the only way i am getting fit for this ride is to buy a bike and start enduro riding with them!! They have been riding a couple of years on local 'hare and hounds' enduros with a local club coltswoldenduro.co.uk. Out for a beer thursday night, wife gave me permission friday morning (amazed at!) found a bike friday afternoon on the net and picked it up saturday afternoon!! a 2010 TC250 4 stroke with 38 hours running. Since then, with 5 mins practice by a local river, i have done 3 enduro rides. First nearly killed me! after 30 mins my body gave up but percevered and managed 2 more 30 min sessions that race before the clock was up, body felt like it had been run over till thursday the following week!!! anyway just completed my 3 race this weekend and now riding the full 2 - 2.5 hour races with just a fuel stop. I just love it. Proper adreleine rush. Reason ended up here was looking for info on setting up / checking suspension because far as i am aware the bike is stock. I am 95kgs naked and geared up ready to race recon 118kgs so was thinking this bike aint handling like it should. Found an article on your site that has been very interesting and thank the chap for sharing it. Nice to meet you all and hopfully not ask too many stupid questions over the next few months!! Cheers Andy
Hi all, I live in Brisbane, Australia, but am doing a stint in central Queensland. I have been riding most of my life, the last 10 on the road. Decided to come back to dirt and bought a '11 TE511 recently. The plan was to get a motard set up and try to enjoy the best of both worlds. Didn't go quite to plan, had an off and broke my back in 2 places, thankfully I can still walk but no idea if I will be able to get back on a bike yet. In the meantime I'm still planning on finding the shopping list for motard parts Cheers, Jez.
Hey all I'm Kane, From West Aus Bought my SMR449 late last year for an upgrade from my WR250x. At first it didn't excite me too much compared to my old yz450 but after some recent mods it is up to my standard. Ps knobblies were for some fun in the gravel.
Dan checking in, just got a "new to me" 2008 TE 250 with 1200miles. Looking around the web , this looks like THE Husky forum. I have spent a lot of time on the Kawasaki Forums KLX250s board which has been solid gold. A good forum is a valuable thing. I know there are a few KF guys that have moved up to Huskies, and are on here. Can't wait to tap the knowledge that I'm sure is here. Thanks Dan
Hey My name is Adrian and I'm from Switzerland. I'm really a big fan of husqvarna Love it! Actually I own a 2004 Husqvarna SM 570 R, a real hellmachine Before this bike I had a 2007 Husqvarna SM 510 R. I do every work for my huskys by myself, because there are no competent dealers for husqvarna in my area :/ But I love it, because it's my hobby Keep ridin' your huskys! Adrian
Hello My names Mike I'm from northern Ontario Canada Just bought my first husky and came across this site in the search for parts and info. The bike I picked up is a 94 WXE250 and I'm in the process of getting it back on the road. looking forward to getting some seat time in soon Mike
Hi to all from Australia, just picked up my first husky 2012 TE449. Stepping of a DRZ400E. Looking forward to this weekend. Just wheeling the new beast around the garage and not breaking into a sweat is worth the money. Great site already picked up some info. Stay safe but go hard Cheers
Hi all, my name is Simon, I've had a 2011 te310 for 2 years now, I got as an upgrade from a 05 WR450, and haven't looked back. I'm from Australia!
G'day husky owners. I just traded in my 98 model cbr1100 xx for a brand new TE449 (it should arrive in about a week). Haven't had a dirt bike since I sold my '87 CR500 in 1992. Onward and upward with the midlife crisis! Anyway, thanks cafe husky, this site has already helped a lot, researching before I chose the TE. It's been great. Is there a forum/s dedicated to Aussies? I'm looking for good rides, clubs, etc. I live in Melbourne. Keep up the great work! B stroke Bikes owned - RM 80, XR 200, TS 250, RD 250, RZ 250, FZ750, RZ 500, YZ250, CR500, CBR1100XX
G'day folks Another Aussie (Melbourne), this one without a Husky...yet! Twitching to hit the trigger on a Terra/Strada and avidly reading up on what you guys have found out so far. Fairly familiar with the base-engine as we had the earlier Aprilia (Pegaso) 5-valve version from the late '90s to ~2004. Got sick of the high-maintenance thing then....but that engine sure is a sweet one. Anyway, will keep reading, thanks for a great place where it all comes together.
Hello for Orange County I recently purchased a 2007 TE510 with 700 miles on it. The PO had Ty go through the carb and exhaust other than that it's stock. I've ordered the normal stuff, tires, G2 throttle, and hand guards. Still looking for a good plastic skid plate. I have a few years of dirt riding (DRZ400S) but for the most part I'm a road guy that's moving over to more dirt. I have a few days with Gary over at Motoventures earlier this year. That was money well spent. I commute every day on a DL1000 and until very recently had a CBR600RR track bike. I raced Honda Hawk's in the 90's and SV's in the early 2000's. My GF recently got her MC license and a KL250 Super Slurpee. We've been riding in Big Bear with another couple who's GF recently started riding. I did some riding at Adams with SM wheels on my DRZ, I'm sure the TE will find it's way there. I had a deposit on a 2014 500EXC but found this TE510 in like new shape for 7k less than the KTM so I got a new bike and my GF gets a trip to Europe. Everyone wins. I'm sure I'll have some questions but hopefully the forum will be more for hooking up with rides than bike repair.
