Hello All, I hail from South Africa, Pretoria. I am the proud owner of a 13 WR 300 and love it. I have been lurking here for quite some time, and used a lot of the information here to make my decision. So far I have racked up 10 hours, in 1 week I just can not stay off of it! I am what the locals call a "rock rabbit" and find the tractor like never say die bottom end of the WR perfect for this application. Nice to meet you all, Greenmiler.
Hey from SW Pa. I picked up a 2006 TE610 over the weekend. It has about 8500 miles on it but stuff like the timing chain, balancer gear torque, upper chain roller, etc., have all been done recently. I have been riding for 33 years but this is my first Husky. I think it is going to be a great fit for me.
Hi Guys, My name is Matt and I am the owner of Propower International, we manufacture innovative carbon parts for huskies and other bikes. I would like to support the site and advertise, but im not sure who to contact regarding this.
Hi guys, I'm an Husky addicted from Varese, I worked for Husqvarna Factory some years ago and now I just have some bikes: WR 125 2006, bought new in 2007, all updated in last versions and 144cc Nuda 900R 2012, BMC filter, Arrow collectors and some little parts WR 360 2002, now Supermoto and full updated to 2011 WR 360 1992, full stock, really perfect WRK 250 1989 (I think), just bought and work in progress Greetings from Italy!
Hi there, im scott ive just joined the forum today i own and ride a 2014 husqvarna wr125..which so far so good its a trails machine!! im so impressed with it its unreal so much power out of such a little engine and the climbing capabilities are epic, and the fact it weighs nothing what so ever!!
Hey guys! Just picked an 09 te 510 with 950 miles on it. Super clean, I love it. Can't decide to power up or not, I really want the extra power but not a fan of loud bikes, plus I plan on riding the trails in Colorado and don't know if the elevation will be a problem, also they have noise regulations on the trails. Sorry, I'm sure this subject has been beat to death but any opinion would be great. Thanks
was casually looking at CL a few days ago for a plated dual sport since selling my Duc 996, ran into a great deal on a '11 Husky TE449. Gotta admit that I didn't know diddly squat about this bike. A quick google search and ran into a thread on ADV specifically about this bike, been with ADV for years so it was trusted information. Long story short, I read through all 27 pages in about 2 hours prior to checking out the bike. Was not disappointed one bit. Lots of very useful information and did not think twice about purchasing the bike. Looking forward to some nice riding now the desert season is coming up in Sunny San Diego! In those 27 pages, there were several mentions of CafeHusky! Found my new home!
Lurker for about a year, but after a season on my 2012 TC449, I think I might finally be able to contribute something once in a while. "C" class Vet motocross-er who is finds the TC more than enough.
Hello you all. I don't have a dirtbike yet, but am gathering info. Planning on buying a dirtbike in summer 2015, so I got a bit of time left to save the money :-) I am not experienced at all, live in the netherlands where there's allmost no room for rural riding. I do have experience with road bikes though, I own a ducati 851SP3. Right now I am thinking a 250 2 stroke would meet my needs (not very tight trails, farmland, sand and ofcourse a low TCO). I like husqvarna's, so a WR250 from 2008 is an option (or perhaps a KTM 250 EXC but I prefer the husky since its different). Can somebody tell me the differences between these two bikes? Which is more suited for me and why? Greetings, Jacco
Hello all, Ok so I have had my bike license for 15 years now. I have mainly ridden road bikes my favourite being a HONDA RVF400. A while ago I decided that it was time for a new challenge so 18 months ago I got a Husqvarna TE 250 for green - laneing. I can honestly say that I have never done something before that leaves me thinking 50% of the time WOW I cannot believe how cool this is and the other 50% WOAH why am I doing this as I hold on for dear life! Anyway that's me and if you have any question please ask. Scott
Hi there - wondering if we have a classified section on the site? I plan to sell my '11 630 SMS. Great bike, just moving on to other stuff!
New member her. Just bought a 2000 410 TE and LOVE the look and the ride ability. Too bad winter is near so I can't waste time. Gotta Ride!
Did you buy the one from Kent? Nice condition for a 2000. He lives about 3 miles from me. I tried talking him out of selling it. He's gonna regret it. Congrats
Not exactly new, 31 posts so far but I'm trying what I can to not have to wait for posts to not have to have posts approved. Thanks. Al.
Yes I did. It's a sweet bike and look forward to better riding weather. But for now it's extra warm gear and go!
