hello new guy here I have a few vintage bike that i'm working on at this time they are a 73 wr 250,74 wr 125 and a 74 cr 450. and thanks for letting me join this club .
Hey! New to cafehusky. Picking up a brand new (08...) cr125 tomorrow just outside of atlanta on my way to the supercross race. I also have an 07 450SMR husky and an 07 rmz250. Heres the RMZ (she's for sale...) and me and my 450smr. I'll post some pics up of the new cr after this weekend.
Welcome aboard. Jumping to the Husky ship eh aboard a CR, sweet. Good luck with the sale of the rmz, it looks pretty clean. Enjoy the Bubba show. Can anyone catch that guy?
Thank you Woodschick. I like Crown Royal a lot better than sucking on Tiago's Hairy Nuts, that's for sure. (For the uninitiated, to sample Tiago's Hairy Nuts, obtain a coconut and poke a couple of holes in the "eyes". Using a funnel, fill the coconut with the Brasilian alcoholic beverage cachaca. Then, let it "ferment" for a few hours. While sitting around a good sized campfire, pass the "hairy coconut" around the ring and suck on one of the punctures to get the now-coconut flavored beverage out of the coconut. Tiago was the fellow from Brazil, who brought the cachaca and introduced us to this brand of poison.) I'll try to get a good photo of my Main AHRMA race bike, and maybe some of the other Huskys as well, and post them in here. Good Riding! Jim
Thank you for adding another thread to the fabric that is CafeHusky, northman Welcome That's quite the vintage stable you've got there... WoodsChick
Alright! Another supermoto rider Welcome to CafeHusky, Iwilli32 Have fun at the supercross! WoodsChick
Hello from CO I'm an 08 TE610 owner. Here is the day my baby was born and came home. Here is me getting her socialized.
Unpronounceable Todd? Is that you?? Welcome to CafeHusky Nothin' finer than getting a bike still in the crate, is there? We've gotten a few GasGases still in the crate and it's pretty cool. Congrats on the new Husky WoodsChick
I am new to the world of Huskys but I have been reading the Husky 4-St forum for the past 9 months. Just picked up my '09 310 2 weeks ago. Got it muddy for the first time today riding around my house and nearby railroad bed. I have been trail riding and racing ECEA enduros as a B rider with below average talent for the past 20 years (11/87 first enduro - last place finisher at Stumpjumper). I sold 2 WR 250fs (one street legal) in anticipation of buying this 310. It is a work of art, almost afraid to ride it. I am also a below average mechanic and I am the master of the self induced problem. Be patient with me, you will usually find humor in my humble stupidity. Looking forward to joining the Husky tribe!!!
It's me Tami I have not seen you in ages. When is your next utah trip happening? I should get myself back out there soon. I did the hole-n-the-rock trail on the other side last year. The side we did years ago is much more technical. I've gotten a KTM in the crate as well and it is the best way. feels like xmas as a kid. take care!!!
New here - hello Hey All - joined up to get smart about Huskies before diving in. Looking for a good dual sport bike that is platable and really like what I'm seeing on these bikes. Had a KLR650 as mainly a commuter that I did some DS rides on and had a blast. No longer need to commute on the bike, so sold it, and now looking for something more dirt-oriented. Also an AFM road racer (SV650), Harley rider, and all around enthusiast for all things two-wheeled. Look forward to seeing some of you on the trails. -Tom
New 250TXC Just picked up a 08' 250 TXC I warmed it up - and it sounds nice. I just sold my KTM XCF to buy this bike..... I have been through the forums trying to learn as much as possible. I'm sure I'll have questions. I already started to melt the airbox - I thought that issue was only with TE models because of the cat pipe - but my XC has done it too. Looking forward to finding out what this bike can do. I ride mostly trails - and some desert stuff. Haven't done any enduros - but will probably start this season district 37 Had a question if these are green or red stickers in Cali? Mine didn't come with the spark insert - or manuals - I'm waiting for the paperwork from the owner (previous owner was from Colorado and it had 4 hours on it) like new- price was right..so had to jump on it. Jacques
Hey all ello every body! My name is Curtis, from southern california. I'm new to this forum, and fairly new to riding (I just surpassed my 50-hour mark!)
I'm already finding humor in your posts I think you'll fit in quite nicely here at CafeHusky, spinkta boy WoodsChick
Yay! Todd's in the house Utah is on the books for late April/early May according to Deeney. I think we'll be doing 5MOH and possibly White Rim this year. I'd love to do the Hole-In-The-Rock trail again...that was some seriously fun stuff! Will you be there this year? White Rim is going to be the perfect trail for our 610's. WoodsChick
Welcome to CafeHusky, dirty_t My husband was an AFM'r for years before he went AMA and WERA, and I ride an SV650 as my daily commuter WoodsChick
Are you Roger's friend Curtis on the Husaberg? Well, Welcome to CafeHusky, lawndart, whether you are or not WoodsChick
New Member Thanks for the entry. As you might tell from my name I like Hodaka's. I'm helping a friend that just picked up a 77 cr390 get it ready for some Vintage MX. I myself am about to take over a 02 cr250 that was left at the shop I started working at about 4 months. It's been sitting at our shop for about a year. Thanks Kelly
