Yes, welcome MotoXotica. I have visited your website, but I wish I wasn't so far away from your shop, because I'd rather visit that.
Howdy, Officialy introducing myself. I roam the West coast and live in WA. I started riding dirt bikes just over a year ago. Started out w/08 TE250 and last week bought an '09 CR125. Yup i'm hooked. Thanks to Coffee for starting this forum and have found it immensly useful. -Jimmy
Welcome to the Cafe. I know what you mean about being hooked, Huskys are like potato chips "Bet you can't have just one".
Hi all, i am from Singapore and a proud owner of MY09 TE310 (1st TE310 on the road). hope to learn from every one over here in Cafe Husky.
Welcome ah_huat, Glad you can join us. Feel free to post up some pic's on Post up pictures of your 4 stroke bikes! if you like or ask some question in the appropriate threads.
Switch from orange to red/white ! Been riding and formerly racing orange for many years......Heck I go back to when they were blue with a silver frame and Lektron carburators, then white with orange frames......and I am actually picking up a new leftover 08 TE 450 tomorrow ......Hope this will be a great experience. I really like those Husky TXC's though...... It is a disease, I have it, and there is no cure for it. At least I am aware of it, so that makes it OK, right ?..... My better bikes so far: enduroized 2004 KTM 250 SX 2 stroke and enduroized 2004 YZ 250 2 stroke (both sold) and I have had many to my wife's greatest admiration When I lived overseas at the age of 17, I raced a Husky 125 WR (the one with the yellow aluminum tank) and then moved up to a 250 WR (red aluminum tank). These were indestructible machines in their days. Only snapped the swingarm on the 125. Motors were bulletproof and required NO maintenance (Made in Sweden). I raced them in both MX and enduros. Handling was not the best, especially compared to Maicos. The old days when racing was more like going fishing than going hunting. Cheerio
Hey All, I am new to the group. Just picked up a 72 WR450 basket case. Should be fun! I live in Minnesota and mostly just trail ride with the occasional enduro. I am hoping to get the 450 ready for some vintage scrambles. My main rides are a Husaberg 496 and a KTM 400(453)EXC. I am glad I found this site, it already has been VERY valuable. Thank!
Welcome to the Cafe Mud. I have a soft spot in my heart for the early 70 Huskies, that's when I got my first one. You always remember you're first.
Welcome to the Cafe Quasimoto If you think that that the general "multiple bike syndrome" is bad wait until you get a little time on the Husky, they become a all consuming obsession. Next thing you know you'll want one of the light weight 125's and a 610 for the more casual work. Of course you'll need them in both the TE and SM format, maybe a couple of different colors to match you're moods.
Hi, Just got back into riding, picked up a used 2008 TE450. Looking forward to some riding with my kids. Mostly forest access roads. Thanks, mbnsw
Hey there, just a short introduction. I am 39 years old and am from Germany. I am riding dirt bikes since 10 years already and just bought my first Husqvarna after several KTMs. I found that board while searching for heat guards for my bike. It is a modelyear 2009 TE 310 with some modifications already: My two italien ladies:
Welcome Bernie, I hope you enjoy Cafe Husky as much as I do. You do have two beautiful looking Italian Girl friends.
Hello all, I have a 2009 TE610 on order, should have it in about two weeks according to the dealer via the North Am Sales Rep. Thought I would get a jump on it by joining Cafe Husky. The last husky I owned was a 250 back around 1980.......Been too long.
Welcome aboard. So you're the guy who got the last one. What part of Ca. do you live in? We are building quite a contingent of 610 owners.
I own about a dozen 83-88 Husky's. 125,250's, 400, 500's, and 510's. My modern bikes are KTM;s. And I also run/own Eddieville and StarvationRidge in Washington state. www.overthebarsgang.com
Hi all my name is John and my 1st Husky will be delivered to my home Friday night. My wife surprised me by getting me a 09 TXC 510 and I can hardly wait. I look forward to learning about the Husky's and members on this site.
