Howdy everyone. Glad to stumble on in here. Just purchased a vert slightly used 2006 TC 510. New to Husky's after riding a KTM 525 MXC for the last few years. Excited to get the bew machine dialed in for some desert riding!

Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I''m from the high desert in socal and I recently purchased an 09 510 SMR. I'm not new to supermoto but am new to euro bikes. I ride mostly canyons (hwy 2, asuza, big pines hwy, 9 mile, hwy 138/18 ect.) with the occasional track-day. So far I'm loving the bike and this site. Thanks for looking!

Thanks for the welcomes and the compliment on the bike! I'm not too sure what she'll do yet as I'm using the up-tite racing style break in, and have yet to surpass 1/2-3/4 throttle or ~5000 rpm. I can tell you that this bike shifts like a dream, so far is sewing machine smooth, and is an awesome handler!

Cool please give a full report after you break her in. My next street bike is most likely going to look exactly like yours. My 09 TXC 510 will be in Friday night and I can hardly wait. My dealer said it will out run my current ride (07 450R Honda) I sure hope so. Enjoy!

    Greetings

    Hi All

I came across this forum last year and have been back several times since. It seems to have grown really well. Hello from UK. I'm a vintage Husky fan. Used to ride a 74 CR250 back in the 80s. Have just got my dream bike, an 83 XC500.

    See you on the boards!

I love this site. I just found it and it will be invaluable for my current restoration projects of my old race bikes - a 1976 CR 125 and a 1978 OR 390. I also have three rolling chasis 1- 1979 and 2 1980. Good times!!

    Greetings from San Marcos, CA

Been cruising this site for a while. I have owned a 81 430 composite (CR/XC 80,81,82,83,85) bike for about 6 years and enjoy some post vintage racing now and then. I am currently researching possible intake and exhaust upgrades/changes. I am hoping to optimize my midrange and add some overrev.

    Regards,
    PC
