Alright! Another `tard shows up Glad to have you here, Trent! Welcome to CafeHusky, Don I dont have a clue as to where to get materials for your tank, but I'm guessing you'll get some good information if you stop by the vintage forum here Hi, kram! Lots of satisfied 610 riders here, that's for sure. We are pretty much all of the same opinion that it's the perfect platform for andventure/dualsport. WoodsChick
Thanks for having me G'day guys , thanks for having me I'm Rohan . I'am the proud owner of a 1973 WR RT 250 . I have only owned the bike for 3 months & before I came across this bike never realised Husqvarna had a registerable version of the WR & must apologise for living such a sheltered life . This bike although in such dire condition has charisma that is hard to find in modern bikes . When iI work out how to drive the computer I will post some pictures . Look forward to meeting you all .
Hey everybody, Tim H here. I'm a fat old grey-haired guy living in Washington State (Graham for those who have any clue where that is). Married with 2 kids (17 YO racerboy son Scott and 18 YO daughter Lorena). I don't own any Huskies at all, but I am a close personal friend of your Mod WoodsChick, and if Y'all are OK with Tami, then you're OK with me. I just hope you can overlook the lack of a Husky. If it's any consolation, I'm a pretty dedicated Euro bike guy...I ride an '04 GasGas EC300, my son now rides a '08 KTM 250XC and we've retained his '05 200E/XC for a backup/loaner bike (all of the above bikes are Reckluse equipped), my daughter has a lowered '03 200EX/C (more of that great work from Les), and the gargage is full of our retired rides, more KTM's, an '88 ATK 250 2 stroke (the first one in Washington State), a couple of CanAm's, a '74 Maico 440 radial, and the impossibe to avoid Japanese bikes, a TT-R125L, RM100 (KX100 in yellow), an '87 CR250 Honda, a '76 RM250, a couple of old Yamaha Enduros, stuff like that. I believe we're sitting on 23 bikes in the garage right now, but I need to hit the lottery to get the time and $$ to restore them all...some day. I know a few of the inmates here already; besides Tami, I know Les, I have recently met Jake (jmetteer) through a mutual friend Ben, and there are probably more, but I haven't spent that much time poking around here yet. Anyway, I like the feeling of community you have going here, and I hope you can overlook that tiny little lack-of-a-Husky problem I have. I tend to read more than I write, but you'll see me pop in from time to time. Tim H
Alright! Who let this guy in here?? Was it you, Rajo? HuskyDude? Dang it...I knew he'd find me here sooner or later Nice to see you here, Tim! It's ok about the no Husky thing. Hang around here long enough and you'll be convinced they're the best thing since sliced bread BTW, you need a TE610 for those DS camping trips we're going to do when we're too old and broken to do the things we do now Oh wait...I already am old and broken... Seriously, though, folks, Tim is the salt of the earth and is my first real "imaginary friend" I met through the internet. Hell, we were great friends before we ever met in real life. He's a great guy, despite his Huskylessness Welcome to CafeHusky, Tim. You're right, we do have a pretty cool community here WoodsChick
Hi, Rohan! Welcome to CafeHusky We'd love to see your photos! If you can't figure it out, send them to me and I'll post them for you WoodsChick

I'm in the Detroit area and have a 1993 Husqvarna WXC 350 bored up to 481cc. A long time street rider, I bought the bike 5 years ago as it was cheap and I wanted to try out the dirt. What a freakin blast! I had no idea what I was missing. At the time I was also working on getting it setup as a supermotard and had a set of custom wheels made for it (they cost more than I paid for the bike :bonk: ) In hind sight, I should have taken a lot more care with the motorcycle and gone through it good and proper. My fifth or sixth time of the season out on the trails my engine ate an exhaust valve. After digging into the motor and seeing the sorry shape of my top end, I was a bit disenchanted and the parts got boxed up. The Husky sat in a corner of my garage. The gas tank was regular used, however, as an I.V. when working on my other bikes (probably blasphemy to admit that here). Other projects seemed to always take priority over the Husky. Just recently I have taken a renewed interest in the bike and have started working on the repair. The head has been welded up. I'm ordering new valves and guides. Having new seats installed....and watching the bottom line of this project quickly grow $$$ I still have the motard wheels, and plan to continue that project after the bike is up and running again. Current bikes in my stable are a 1971 BMW R60/5 (my first bike and still ride it often), a 1980 Dnepr Soviet made sidecar rig (rescued this one a few years ago from a dusty corner of my dad’s garage. He gave up on it in 1989. If you have ever owned a Soviet motorcycle, you may be able to sympathize.), and a 2003 Triumph Daytona 600.
New member from Missouri... Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I'm on my second Husqvarna, an 07 TC 450. My first was an 02 CR 250. I'm very happy with the brand and hope to expand my knowledge of Husky's here on cafehusky.com. Thanks, David Gore Kearney, MO
