Welcome snocompton. Do you have a Husky or just thinking of getting one? Welcome Stefan of Oz. It's never to late to join. Good choice on Huskys. Like to see some pics of the trails you ride when you get a chance. Welcome to Cafe Husky zembo. Have you had your bike out on the Autobahn. :ride: Welcome master62. Once you get your TE you'll have to give us a ride report on her. Welcome josHK. It is a great place isn't it? The Cafe welcomes you Dadot27. Welcome trailboss. Have you entered any endurocrosses yet? When will the next one be? Welcome to Cafe Husky ddowdy. If you have very little experience on riding, I would stay away from the bigger bore machines. They can be a handful at the best of times. I would suggest the TE250 or TE310. Both are still lots of bike though. You might even consider joining a local club or get some professional training if you are thinking on getting your motorcycle licenses. Keep us informed on how things go for you. Welcome revit. You could start a post in the 2 stroke section and start a new thread about your back wheel if you would like. You would get a lot better response that way. Where from Canada are you from? Welcome to Cafe Husky electricbymike. We try not to use the TT would around here... Naa just kidding. Welcome baldnugget. The IMS larger tank fits but the tank shrouds will not fit the new tank. I believe Kelly @ Motosportz has addressed the damper issue as well. Welcome to the Cafe Cruiser. I've always said one can never have enough motorcycles.
Hi all, Newbie here dont quite own a Husky yet but have been riding Fury1 's 09 TXC 250 for the last couple weeks and love it and hope to own it soon. Im a NETRA Enduro rider from MA and love the site so far, got a lot of reading to catch up on but so far so good.
Welcome to Cafe Husky crem55. You're right about lots of reading. It's pretty hard to keep up even if ones been on here a while. Don't forget about the search button on top to help you find things.
bout time shane!! oh ya he also won the B-light enduro championship due to the great ride at the last enduro on the TXC husky!!
Hey all, Just picked up an 09 TE510. Looking forward to finding all the good information on here and helping out anybody that I can
Another Newbe Hi all, I have just joined the Husky community. I currently own and ride 2 Husky's. I have an 04 TC450 and a 99 WR250. I am an older guy so just use my bikes in the woods for casual trail riding. My competitive days (Enduro/MX) have long since past. I also did some road racing and retired from that in 2005. I currently ride a Triumph Rocket III Touring on the road and also am in the process of restoring an original 1970 Triumph chopper. I do like my Husky's and wish I had more time to spend riding them. Unfortunately, work interferes with my social life. I am looking forward to participating on this forum!
Hi I,m new to this forum I just bought a 2009 TE250 This is a great site for husky info. I will be doing some modification to the bike one of the first things will be lowering it. I plan on using Kouba links to take it down 1"and lower the front forks just wondering if anybody has experienced any handling problems at higher speeds with similar modifications Thanks Chico
Greetings! Found out about this site over at Thumper Talk. I rode enduros in the 70's, but never could afford a Husky back then. A few years ago I found a fixer-upper '82 430XC, then another bike for parts, then another, etc. So now I've got a variety (XC's, AE's, WR) of 80's big bores (430's & 500's) at different stages of restoration. My street ride is an '02 DL1000 V-Strom.
Hi all! I just bought my first Husky, a 2009 TE250, from Scott at Ross Rocher Sales in Stratford, Ontario. I'm just getting back into riding after about an 11 year break. Can't wait to get back into the dirt!
HI, Mike here from Woodinville near Seattle. Running a '07 TE610 with IMS, Dirtbagz, LV X3 pipe, jetted (45, 180, red needle 4th clip), Acerbis Cyclops headlight and D908s. Just put on a XPC Racing modified seat. Acquired mine used, beginnning of October, with 2900 miles on it. Ride single track and forest roads on the weekends, and commute 44 miles RT each work day on one of the bikes. Also share seat time with a '08 KLR650 and an '07 Royal Star Venture for travels with the navigator. I am also a ham radio operator focused on weak signal VHF and microwave. I have rigged up my KLR650 with 100W radio equipment on VHF bands for contesting on mountain tops. Heading to Death Valley in February and Moab in April, maybe see some of you there. - Mike

hello Hi Coffee, Thanks for the introduction. I live in West Australia and have just bought a new 2009 TE450 around a month ago and thought this looked like a good place to catch up with other husky owners. cheers
