Thanks! Hey, I never even looked here till know. Name: PALMER84ONE or P84ONE for short. Father of 6, husband to 1 = 8, One = creator, 4 = for and we are the PALMERS. I try. Coffee, glad to have followed you to your site and thanks for having me. I am a recovering Hondaholic. Still have them because one bike is never...well...you know...enough. First Husky: 08TE450 from Uptite, yes, I am one lucky buzzard to have him 15 miles away. and happy about that too. "Not to say someone out there is not his equal." But I am happy. Thanks and hellow to all the (other site "TT" followers), Gary
born again Husky-holic Hi, I thought I had recovered, but fell once again to the allure of Husqvarna. Recently purchased and ride an '08 TE510. I have previously owned and raced new Sveedish Huskys: 1975 CR250 and 1977 CR390, in SRAC moto-x (Colorado). Yes I was younger then, and I only wished I still had both bikes! -Randy Fite '08 TE510 '08 TRX420 FE '00 ST4 '90 XT600
so this is where you went. Thanks for starting this up Coffee. Best of luck and I also hope this grows big.
Hey ya'll. I live in Colorado and am new to huskies, just purchased a very nice '06 TE610 back in March and been riding the hell out of it. I also have a set of SUMO wheels for it but they are up for sale now since I like more off road and away from cars..
Look at our own special space here isolated from all the riff raff and distractions...how civilized. Thanks for creating this coffee. I've got the 07 TE250 with a 300 kit in it.
Hello Just want to say Hi to all Husky friands. I just became a "member" of this fantastic Husky page. I started to work as an R&D engineer at the Husqvarna factory in early 70'th. Won the US 125 GP in Saint Louis 1973,( I think it was). Raced the US Nationals in MX a few years + a Baja 500 win. I was quite involved in everything regarding Husky's from 1970 to 1980.I have have some part and books laying around, let me know what you need. Maybe I can help you
Arne I've been thinking about what to say to you... I just cannot come up with anything.... so I'll just start typing... Thank you ever so much for joining this site, it means a lot to me. Hope you comeback to keep us in line at least occasionally. Pretty awesome talking to the another ex-R&D engineer, difference is I never worked in the motorcycle industry... I do however know that an R&D engineer has a tremendous amount of input on the end product, of course they are always being held back by minor things like "reality" & the laws of physics. Also thank you for your kind offer about some books. I'm getting the impression you understate things so you may have some really good stuff... Hopefully "HuskyT" our hands on vintage enthusiast will see your kind offer and send a message your way. Please come back when you can Arne.
Great site - thanks for the effort to get it going. Had 4 husqvarnas shape my motorcycle skils (or lack there of), '78WR250 '79CR390 '87TE510 (wish I still had it) and my current rides '06TE250 and a '04 Honda Transalp XLV650 - saludos from chile
Greetings From Australia Greetings from Australia... I have an '05 TE250 fitted with a Rekluse clutch Mainly ride East Coast State Forests and generally prefer tight single track. Nice looking site...Well done
He 'da MAN Yeah - he "understates"......at the time HVA, AB sold off motorcycle production and a brand license to Cagiva, he was the president of Husqvarna USA. Returned to Sweden where he subsequently took up residence as the VP, Marketing for Highland Motors AB [Now Highland Group, AB], also home to a couple other Husky/Husaberg veterans. Is the fount of knowlege for all things Husky from the late 50's to '80 or so. "And now, you know the rest of the story."
Count me in! Coffee, Thanks for setting up our own website. I thought you did an outstanding job at TT and look forward to the growth of this website under your guidance. Tim aka Honard TE510 2008 TE250 2007 sold TC250 2005
Welcome Sierra NV Pale Ale, Seahorse, and honard! I suppose Stapleking is welcome too.... LOL. Thanks for joining up, I've got plans for this site and think it should work really well for archiving the information - all kinds of good information, and I'm going to add my own stuff as well. There are some really really great forums out there but the really good information gets buried under all the newer posts - so it's a bit hard to find. Honard - did you get the welcome PM with a link to this thread?
Coffee, This site Rocks!!! I have two 73 RT models 250 and 360, 75 360 GP, 76 360 WR, Two 87 430 Crs, 91 250 WXE, and a 94 360 WXC Thanks, Guy
My name is Mike and I own a 07 TE450. Reason is I didn't want a XR650 and that was the only option in 9/06, nothing else out there was decent (light weight) to own if I wanted to street it and go OR. KTM wasn't street legal until 07... Thanks Coffee
Welcome Riksha, photoguy_43420, and marks139. That is the same line of reasoning for getting my TE250.
