Howdy. Migrating from one of the other boards. Doesn't seem to be much conversation over there anymore. 2008 TE610

Another new guy I just got a 1985 XC500 added to my stable. I have had a bunch of bikes, but Husqvarnas have always been real special to me. My first was a 81 CR250, then a 82 XC430, and now the XC500. I ride in the desert of southern Arizona and like the faster sections like gas lines and the state trust lands. Always looking for parts and more parts.
Hello all. Looking to buy a Husky CR500/84, and then I will ask help with posts on the renovation. I was lucky to ride on these bikes: Bultaco Frontera 370MK11/80, Kawa KX500/89, Honda XR600/94, Cagiva WMX125/89, Husqvarna WXC250/93, KTM125SX/94, Husqvarna TC610/96, Honda XR400/98. Now after more than ten years with no ridinf, I decided to participate on classic vintages races with Husky CR500...and stick with the brand! I'll let you know with the news. Regards. (I am not english spoken, sorry for my bad english!)
Hello everyone ! I'm a proud owner of TE 510 2010, can't wait the sumer ... It's winter time over here -20c today and lot of snow on the ground ...
Here's another new guy Hello everyone my name is Jeff and I am a Husky-holic. My 1st Husky was 72 400 CR purchased new. My current ride is a 84 500, I have a 80 390 that is a work in progress, a 84 500AE roller with a basket case for a motor, maybe someday I will locate all the parts needed. Great site with plenty of info, keep up the good work. Jeff
I'm Ben Smith, I just picked up my 2010 TE250 to race the ECEA Enduro series. 2 time silver medalist at the ISDE. One while I was on a husky. Looking foreward to seeing the great info on the bikes and also trying to provide my own feed back.
Ok, I made it... I'm officially in the Husky family now that I bought on 12-28-09 a TE510. I am blown away by so many aspects of it. All good except for the dang vibration. So happy to read on here in past few weeks vibes will diminish somewhat after a few hours. I get tendinitis in knuckles from it. Dealer set mine up with power up stuff/de-restricted it for me. You guys have given me superb advice on what aftermarket mods/upgrades to go for first. So far: IMS tank in black, Cycra handguards, p3 various (hasn't yet arrived), i don't know what else. I have around 28 miles on it so far. I had read extensively about the TE's before the purchase specifically the 510. When Dirt Bike said it was far faster than any of the 450 mxr's I didn't really believe it. I still can't believe it but this thing will smoke my YZ-F. The Fine True Love List: EFI. OMG what a revelation. I can remember my first FI street bike. Same sort of 'Holy Cow this is cool! I love it!!' feeling. The Hydraulic Clutch. Such lite pull --ooooohhhhh that is nice. Electric start. It is as nice as I always knew it would be. The Styling. Husky shows Italian flair? I dunno. Whatever it is a FINE looking motorcycle. It looks as good as anything out there now. Better than just about any in my eye. Suspension needs to be tweaked. Seat needs to be done like the guy from CO that bought the clear IMS and same handguards a me also in black. Also I have been mulling the TE610 rear sub mod. so I can add rack and Rotopak fuel cell on back. BUT with the multiple broken rear subs on y'all's Mexico trip I'm not sure that's a good option. Thinking about having one fab'd. Not sure that is an option but do have a machine shop next door here that has done other small stuff for me. I think I'll go talk to him about whopping me up an unbreakable one. Wd. be heavier but I'd be willing to accept that. I'm going to Idaho with a group from here in 'Bama and need much more range than the IMS allows plus more weight capacity probably than OEM/OEM 610 sub route allows. I'm just glad to be here! John PS: I just can't believe one can get a TAG for these things!! Unbelievable!!
Quick introduction to this great Husky forum. I live in San Francisco, and work in the Thin Film Solar industry developing manufacturing tools. I own a 2000 Husky WR250. It has been a great trail bike. -PC Platinum Pipe -PC Spark Arrester -Flexx Handlebars -Fastway Pegs I never have enough time to ride, but my favorite places are Middlecreek, Cow Mtn., and Foresthill. I also ride the local Bay Area spots as well. I also have a street legal 1999 KTM 300EXC, but the Husky is a much better trail bike!!! Eric
