Hi all, From Melbourne, Australia and my love affair with husky's started with the Wr360 and still remains. Host of mates have converted from YZRMCRKX250s to Wr250's. Next bike will be Wr300..if l can part with the 360 Jay
Hello, I've been riding for over ten years now--street, track and recently dirt. I own BMW, Ducati and Honda. I lacked an enduro bike and picked up a 2009 TE 250 last Sunday to fill the gap. I've got to say I'm a bit surprised by the inordinate amount of oil changes necessary for the break-in period. According to the dealer, I'm supposed to replace fresh oil and filter ever 100 miles until the first service at 500 to 600 miles (when again fresh oil and filter are changed). Does five oil changes prior to the first service seem somewhat excessive to you? Also, would appreciate any comments on the horsepower change on the bike after the PU kit is installed. In stock form it reminds me of my Dad's Honda 90 from the '70s. Hope the kit makes a big difference. Thanks.
Keeping up the Aussie infiltration.... Name is Lon, from Brisbane Australia purchased me a TE450 a few weeks back, and lovin' it!
Hello all, I've been riding dirt bikes since age 13 (almost 40 years), but I haven't had a Husky...yet. This just might be the year!
Hey all, Just joined up as I'm considering a TE 510 as my next bike. I was told on Thumper talk that this was a great Husky resource so I'm looking for info. to see if a 510 is for me.
New 610 owner. John L in Seattle Just got my first Husky recently, a 2006 TE610. Love it. Have only been able to put a couple hundred miles on it but way fun. Looking forward to getting to ride with some of you soon. Great site too. John
09 te 250 Hello. I just purchased a 09 te 250. Ive been lurking on the site for awhile. It is going to be a great reference for advice on my new Husky.
Howdy, new to the concept of owning a Husky, but after a rediculous amount of researching, it looks like the new TE450 may be the bike to replace my TW200. This site looks to be very informative - thanks to everyone involved!
The day i became a husqvarnian Well, I am now a Husky owner. This morning I drove to the northern part of the state and purchased an 08 510 TE. I haven't ridden a non-street bike (owned 3 R-1 Yamahas) since 1999 and that was a YZ250. I am happy to say that this thing impressed me. I still have snow here but I did find a nice dirt road to rip it up on.....Let me know if there is anything I need to know about this bike. Also, I need the suspension stiffer. Does any one have any suggestions...I am 5'11, 205 lbs. Best, Eric

Hi Everyone, I just want to introduce myself, I live in western mass and have recently started dismantling my 1982 430XC that I have owned since it was new. It had been sitting for many years but when I heard that Husqvarna was named marque of the year at Mid-Ohio, I decided it was time to start the restoration. My other rides are a 2002 BMW K1200RS and a 2008 Kawasaki KLR650. I look forward to discussing restoration issues and hopefully picking up some tips.
Hello. After wanting a Husqvarna for a very long time, I recently purchased a slightly used 2006 TC450 and can't wait to ride it! I have already paid a visit to George at Uptite where I picked up some cool accessories: his skid plate, carb filter, exhaust guard and tons of great advice - thanks, George!

Hello All. This is a great site, as you well know. I have a running 1981 420AE that I want to keep running. I also have a non running 1982 WR250 that I am in the process of rebuilding with my 13 yer old son. We have all the engine parts and need to clean, paint and reassemble. The Ohlins shocks no longer dampen so they need a rebuild that I would like to do myself.
Hello everyone. Relative newbie here - I've only been riding for about 2 years. Up here in the Great White North, Husky isn't very well represented. I joined this site to learn more about Huskys and bike maintenance in general. I'm afraid as a relative newbie I may not have much to offer, but I am a fast learner, so maybe I can pitch in from time to time.
