    I use air it gently lifts the grip free and put it any where you want, use alcohol to clean first

    use alcohol to clean the bars gently apply air and they don't move until I use air to remove
    they wear out before they move, have taken them off and moved them to new bars same way

    I kinda like the Goop and mineral spirits solution I stumbled upon, but to each his (or her) own.

    No adhesive so to speak, a quick spray of contact cleaner into the grips then slide 'em on. Lockwire to finish and to stop 'em spinning.

    2nd on the Hairspray and safety wire. I think everything on my bike has safetywire!
