Just throwing out my own opinion. I have a 2009 TE 510 and I absolutely love it, and just to pull a comparison to my buddy who just bought a brand new 2012 KTM 500exc I can honestly say ill take my husky any day. The set up for everything from the power up mod was so simple on my husky. His 500exc back fires all the time because he hasn't taken the time to do the proper modification. I also enjoy the fact that a husky stock gearing is already set up for the trail riding but I can also cruise at 65 down the highway without a struggle. No matter what bike you look at they will all have their problems, your best bet is to try what's the most comfortable for you and then do your own custom work and personalization. No bike is going to come right from the dealer ready for use unless you buy a Beta and do their personalization upgrade, but where's the fun in not bolting on and ripping apart your own motorcycle and the satisfaction of saying, yeah I put that on, and not comparing the differences from riding it from the previous setup?

It's one better. When your getting everything a 510 has to offer, you can go one more.

    These go to 11.

This is possibly the weirdest thread I've evr seen on this site. For awhile there it looked like it belonged on "TT".
Anyway, I'm now disillusioned with the all time favorite bike I've owned (Kawasaki Z1-R 1000). Knowing it was only 998 cc's never bothered me before but now I'm hurt that they cheated me out of 2 cc's./
By the way, does that Yamaha 426 have a Hemi? How dare they blaspheme the mighty Mopar!:naughty:

dozens of them, kicked to the curb
    why?

cuz the fun-factor knob used to go to 10, now it goes to 11....the one on the right grip. gota look close. see it? turn it all the way.

'sides, 512 sounds lame and i think LADA has a trademark patent er sumpin on the whole "12" delio.

I don't care what the marketing says or what the sticker on the side plate says, where it's made or wether it's 450 cc, 449 cc or 448 cc.
I had a demo bike for a day and after that day i was in love with the 449 or whatever cc it is and had to have one.
These bikes are Awesome!!! The CTS works! these things find traction everywhere and the drive you get from it is unbelieveable. After 2 years and 4000 km i love my Husky 449. That's just my opinion for what it's worth, and life would be pretty boring if we all had the same opinion!
When you get better and hopefully you have a speedy recovery, get a ride on one and see what you think.
I hate to be the party pooper about the 310 but you won't like that either as it's only 302.4 cc!! :busted:
