We bought some property in West Virginia. We noticed folks were unfriendly like that. always makin ya stop and have some lemonade or ice tea. And chattin you up. yep, not like that in Washington state. were the cops shoot then read you your rights. :-) LOL
I try to get down there at least once a year for the Shenandoah 500, it's a little more big bike friendly than I care for, but the single track and hero sections more than make up for the open roads. The people down there all seem to be very friendly and most will wave as you ride by. I have to think it's one of the best places to ride out here in the North East.
I rode the Shenandoah 500 this year,rode the 630 on Sat and the plated but uninspected WR300 on Sun. Geared the WR for around 80 mph and had a freaking blast. Will definitely be back in '12
