I'm gonna give the new motor a year, but I can definitely see a new-gen TC 250 in our racing future if the motor holds up well and doesn't take a robot to start it.

Looking forward to the ride reviews because I'm interested in both bikes your going to be riding. And after talking with Tasky today that 390 might be pretty cool. So don't give it a good review or you might cost me more money

You found the super secret gallery

For the record, so everyone knows, the pictures in that gallery are in a specific order, at least that was the plan.
    1. Pic of bikes title/name e.g. SMRR450
    2. Many pictures of that particular bike e.g. SMRR450
    3. Possibly a closing picture of the same bike e.g. SMRR450
    4. Repeat for next bike.

So every pic after #1 should be picture of the #1 bike until the next bike.

Just so you know what bike you are looking at in the pictures.

we are all realizing that downsizing will keep us old guys faster longer!!! I felt like a hero on the 08sxf250 kato I recently rode and the 290cc wr250 yam with super tite offset triples felt really good as well

I actually really like those bikes but not durable enough for me and takes to much to get them where i want them. Nice motor and handling for sure and feel light. I bet that TXC250 is going to rule. I wish the Berg 390 had a downsized motor.

Looks like Rekluse has already made a clutch for the new engine ?

For those interested in reading on the 390 I just found the below information on the DR website.

Looks like JL will be doing a test ride of the 2010 FE390 at the Red Bull Romaniacs 4 day enduro. I'm going to try and follow a long with it because I want to see what he says about the new 390. Just thought I would let others know as well.

You can find the links/stories on the DR website.

I'm sure K's ride report will be much better but just thought this might keep some happy until we can read his.

ScottyR that's great to hear your 390 arrived today and looking forward to your ride report once you get a chance to ride it

I'm looking at it and possibly a 09 450 leftover.

Then again the Husky 2010 TXC250 might be a nice option also

    Man I'm confused :banghead:

Need to plant a money tree

I honestly dont know if/when the 390 will get ridden. I finally have my 09 TE310 dialed in and all my riding buds tell me I am quite a bit faster on it than I am on my FE450. Considering all the hype that came with the new Bergs, even I find this a little hard to believe.

My short ride on the FE450 and longer term rides on the FE570 tell me it is no Hype. I LOVED those bikes and thought them the future of 4 stroke design even though i am a die hard husky fan. The EFI, the way they turn and the overall package really surprised me. I'm secretly hoping that when I try the 2010 TXC250 I am going to like that more than the 390 to stay brand loyal. I pick up the FE390 tomorrow and hope to at least swing a leg over the 2010 TXC250 soon I will be candid and honest in my assesment regardless of my obvious husky bias. There is sure a lot of great bikes out these days.

Scotty, I'm not surprised your fast on the 310. My buddies 08 TXC250 (Jake) is a blast to ride and deceptively fast long term to be on. 250F's don't feel fast but sure seem keep moving forward effortlessly.

Some Berg info on the 2010 models...

No O-2 sensors on 2010 models.

Bikes still compensate for altitude and temp via ambient air temp, MAP sensor, engine temp sensor, intake air temp sensor,

FX is in red sticker full race open loop mode no need for sensor - similar to power up kit with Husky

FE green sticker map open loop , leaner than red sticker map, but Husaberg found no need for O2 sensor with current maps.

Also FE has spark arrestor stamp on can.
