Winter trail ride in So. Cal. 12/10/14

    Looks like about a 3-4 hour drive for us. There's camping there I assume. I imagine it gets busy on the weekend like any other ohv park.

    It's not as busy as some places. Trails range from 4X4 down to singletrack. The Jeepers can clog up a trail. Likewise, any quad foolish enough to get off the perimeter roads will quickly fill a trail from side to side. Luckily the trails are not too inviting to most quad riders. Free camping (with adventure pass) in Bobcat Meadows and Corral Canyon campground. Outhouses at both, a pump for water at Corral Canyon. Campfires allowed when the area isn't too dry. Nearest source of fuel, groceries and hamburgers is at Pine Valley. Other nearby riding options are Pine Valley and McCain Valley. Fishing at lake Morena.:D

    when it was fresh and new, first time on ranger trail trying to follow ribbon.
