I have now decided to try JB Weld :) Just started to get rid of the oxidation. I will at the same time change the seal that I just bought. Yesterday I took of the Öhlins shock absorber and now the spring will be repainted.

I have now fixed the waterpump problem with JB Weld. It worked very well. I have replaced all the radiator hoses as well. Have also filled in new oil and glycol.
I also got the the repainted exhaust system back that a friend of mine had repainted. He had also repainted the Öhlins shock absorber spring. Looked very good

Now I have mounted the exhaust system and a new air filter. I have also mounted the repainted Öhlins shock absorber. It looks very good. I have to adjust the shock absorber later. Still some refurbish to do with the wheels and spokes.

Make sure you seal any any broken gloss on JB weld repair with epoxy overcoat. If you sand JB Weld, it will absorb oil and coolant.

The last month i have done the last things in my bike for 2017. Wheels and spokes have been cleanad. The old seat cover have been replaced. Was lucky to buy a very fine tank that only had to be cleaned and some new stickers put on. So now the bike is ready for next season. In the meanwhile I will ride my 420AE in the snow with skis.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to att Husky lovers.

its amazing how good a bike will go using studded tires..the front tire often gets so much traction your arms hurt a bit. hardpack or ice yields nice power wheelies....

Hi P-A ! Is there a chance (when you have a moment free) to take one of your super clear pictures of the way you have the lower radiator hoses connected. I know all hoses are same diameter and connected by a Jubilee Clip once in place. For some reason my lower ones (which has one longer piece of rubber hose) dont seem to line up nice. I assume the hose has to sneak underneath the exhaust port/muffler but not sure if it sits outside frame down tube or inside? Much appreciated and thanks, Regards Alistair
