My 250 Racing is pretty vibey. I kinda figured that was 250 2stk normality as I haven't ridden one other than vintage which vibrate like hell. I don't notice it so much when riding though.

The 2014 250RR that I rode briefly had very little vibration and handled very well. I came away from that brief ride very impressed. I hope you can get it sorted.

The 49 works great.....I feel the vibes in the pegs but not so bad in the bars....ordered the kit from Dave at Get Dirty to raise it...can choose to go from 5 to 30.... don't think the bars mounts have rubber insullation for anti vibration

It takes a long while for the suspension to break in, but it will become soft and compliant, then you will be dialing more compression.
Some have said it will turn better with a 5.2 spring, but get up on the tank and i feel it turns pretty well.
It does feel heavy pushing around, but I don't see anyway it could feel heavy on the trail, my front wheel is off the ground half of the time.
It might vibrate compared to a 125 or 4 stroke, but I don't notice it.

I will also add, you will get some ride time on the stock tires, but they are not the best handling tires.

on the vibes, i checked the motor mounts, all tight.

on stiff suspension, turned the clickers all the way out for the next ride while it breaks in. found out my air gauge is shot, i was riding on 19psi tires! that will add a little roughness :D back down to a proper 13F / 12R (sometimes 10)

i've heat cycled the motor twice and rode it at varying speeds on trail for 1.5hrs so i figured it was time to drop the oil. glad i did... dealer overfilled the trans BY DOUBLE. i pulled ~1700ml out. WTF!

thanks, water racer. i swapped the stock tires for Motoz Terrapactors before riding the bike. i've had Michelin Enduro Comps in the past, hated 'em.

Yeah, I didn't touch my clickers for the first couple of rides. It was pretty stiff. I took about 6 out of the comp on the forks and about 4 from the LS comp on the shock and a few out of the HS comp. Added a few on rebound and it feels pretty damn good now. Still haven't set the sag though. I think I might be sagging a little too much. I don't mind the tires too much, but the rear is already getting kinda chewed up. I've been running the pressure pretty low though as it has been kinda muddy on a few of my rides. Thinking about trying the AT81s.

Vibes are not typical, in fact very low vibes is what I find exceptional about my 300RR Racing.

much better experience today with clickers all the way out and forks up in triples to the 3rd line. tire pressure made a big difference too. (of course)

3rd session tomorrow morning. can't wait. i'm falling in love with this motor.

I does like an aggressive body position when turning, I'm sure it can be improved with some suspension adjustments but I have done little other than adjust clickers. Others have indicated they turn well, so I need to work more with it.

Sunday's ride was awesome, definitely feeling more comfy. still think i will bump to the 5.0kg spring as a small step stiffer out back.

For sure do the spring. As far as the vibration, in neutral on the line it feels average. Riding it feels better than average.

i didn't notice the vibes as much in my feet (still there though) but my right thumb is going to sleep from mid-RPM vibes in the bars. reminds me of my Buell :D

i'm also working the bars too hard which might be adding to some deathgrip. plus the stock Domino grips feel fatter than my preferred thin, knurled, ProTapers. once i get the suspension sorted i bet i'll be more loose on the bars. my small changes have already made a big improvement. few more edits / rides she should be dialed in but the vibes just might be the way it is. we'll see as it breaks in more. already lost a skid plate bolt, vibrated right out last ride. i'm checking bolts frequently.

Loosen all your motor mounts including the head stay and swingarm pivot. Retorque starting at the swingarm pivot and ending at the head stay. Also check for other loose components on the bike, these will vibrate at different harmonics and you will feel it. A pipe guard is an example, this is exactly what happened to a guy with a 300 on the Beta forum. Last, if all else is good, you can try adding weights to the inside of the bar ends. I had a buzzy '03 GG 250 that I improved with some 4" sections of tubing filled with bird shot and friction fit in the bar ends behind the handguard mount tapped inserts. If you can tolerate the slightly larger diameter, the ProGrip Ralley grips do a great job at helping to isolate vibes and shock. I bought them by mistake once, but after trying them I'm a convert.

Sorry to hear that Cam; I seen you walking up to the track with your arm in a sling and limping along and knew it was not a good thing. I had a better weekend with 3 firsts and a second, I usually ride the third moto of the day with the 60's just to get more track time and gauge my speed with the younger set - however, after about wilting from the heat in the second moto I made the decision to sit it out. My only incident happened in the second moto on the first lap at the corner just before the ski hill, so dry it was like riding on marbles and I actually spun out and slammed myself into the uphill fence, hard enough it shoved my goggles into my nose and took the skin off. Worse part of it I probably will lose my modeling job now :D, I did catch the other guy a couple of laps later and passed him - only to get re-passed at the end after the whoops. Had fun though and good competition.
