Prior to having my shock rebuilt, my HS compression adjustment was useless, didn't make any difference where I set it. Now it actually works. Not sure what the deal is there but I'm not the first one to notice this.

That's a real shame that you guys spend top cheddar on your new Husky and the suspension is so substandard. What's going on over in Austria? Do all the rejected suspension components of the Orange line get given to the Husky line?

So has anyone ridden the zipty 4cs set up on a 4s yet? If so what are your clickers set at and have you changed them at all?

I have mine set at 12 clicks out for both rebound and compression. My springs are 4.8's. Night and day difference from stock 4CS. Unfortunately I have a dislocated shoulder, so I can't keep playing with them.

been on them for months now, I added a couple clicks into COMP then went back to Ty's settings, but I did add 25cc of oil to both legs for bottoming resistance. Raced Tecate Enduro on them and raced a local HS on Sat with them, hardcore trail rides almost every weekend. They work really well.

Not sure what springs I have in front now but I'm at 4-5 out on comp and 16 out on reb. About 18 out on low comp rear and 2 out high comp and 20 out reb to get a somewhat balanced feel. 8 comp and 14 reb on forks was very soft. Good for trail ride but not for logs and dips and jumps at speed.

You must be over 200# with the 48's I assume? I started with 48's (230# out of shower) and they were soft, 52's were maybe a little stiff.

Good news is that we have hired more suspension guys and our suspension turn around is as little as one day.

Rode my buddies YZ250 yesterday he just got back form ZipTy, he is in love. Transformed the bike. Is slightly stiff but thats what he asked for. Even so it never deflects and is rock solid.

made a chassis adjustment per Race Tech engineering tech, was 2 rings up on forks, moved to 1 ring up, much better, So ZipTy forks are feeling better and better as i still adjust to this bike and refine my persoanl settings. also had 30mm static rear sag with 12mm spring preload, went to 10mm spring preload for 35mm static bike is better balanced. fork ride higher with less understeer (tuck) may eventually go to caps level with top triple, bt one step at a time. Trax shock still needs personal tuning, but the thing was doing its work on steep rocky loose downhills and under power on steep rocky uphills thats where the thing is noticable.

Rob sounding good and on your own personal scale of Go-fast \ race mode, where do you think you are at with this new Husqvarna dirt bike? And did your wrist heal ok?

wrist is good to go for a while now, also have a set of flexxbars on the way, I decided to add them to this bike as well for even more vibe/G isolation especially for the wrists. As for the 2T truth is like another Café member (motosportz) I have always easily adapted to various bikes from left shifter Guzzis and BSAs to 4 and 2 stroke machines. So the 300 2T has been just fine, but of course still finding all the little tweaks to get me down the course faster with less fatigue and body stress. Forks are great as is from ZipTy just need some position play and maybe some clicker play as well, jetting is fine as it is but I have a RLR (Rich Lafferty) recommended needle to try for an even more smooth electric feel (thanks Norm). Trax shock is a work in progress but Im starting to "get" it, I found it helping me a lot on ugly downhills especially this last weekend, there are some goooood test zones in the area we rode on Saturday, she still needs more set up for the rolling rock filled stuff under acceleration. I think we can get it better there.

UpDate--- just went back up to ZipTy Racing for a service and to the latest updated settings. My previous mod service time was last NOV so now we are fresh with service and updates.
The forks are now an even more balanced work of art set at 12C 12R.
Zero hard bottoming on even the highest of our loop drop offs onto flat landings (that would be LSCD) along with G outs also LSCD we ride into along the way. They still blow through for HSCD sharp rock hits but now they ramp up better at full compression, springs are .46 forks and 5.8 rear on the freshly serviced WP Trax shock. Doesn't get much better.

    FYI/Additional note:

    1) latest off the shelf Motocross Action has a test with and ESR (Earl Schuler Racing) modded 4CS bike----the ESR mod is the same type as the ZipTy Racing mod, even the same looking base valves (Blu anodized) are used, COMP on both bottoms and REB on both tops. They mention its a little soft for Pro moto, but good for ammies and older class riders---(for me, ammie offroad that sounds good!!). But also mentioned they work through the travel very well.

    2) latest issue of Dirt Bike has an ProCircuit modded 4CS bike (Bones Bacon)----It too uses the common ZTR type mod to achieve what they wanted as well. It also has those same looking/shared blue anodized base valves, with COMP at both bottoms and REB at the top of both forks, Pro Circuit even uses 2 red REB knobs with a REB indicator sticker on the left fork.

Had zipty mod the 4cs on my 15 te300 and they are leaps and bounds better. Great bottoming resistance and front end now absorbs tons more...front end feels more planted cornering (still need to ditch stock front tread). Settings are 12c and 12r from Zipty...havnt had a chance to further tune them but they are awesome. Hit a few g outs and drop offs and no problems as of yet. Will post more when I get a good hard ride in. Already a far cry better though..thanks to ZIPTY!
