• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

08 TE Shop Manual

Fast1

Husqvarna
AA Class
Where can I purchase a 08 Husqvarna TE shop manual?

Does anyone currently own one and can you comment on the
quality and cost of it.

I believe it's only on CD and I think a dealer can order you one. I nearly got one from Hall's and I think he quoted around $10. Maybe get it printed somewhere. Wonder if Kinko's would do it? Might be shady for them...

I printed my manual out and put it in a binder. Kinko's (or anyone else that thinks it's shady to print it out) isn't going to help me get the greasy fingerprints off my keyboard, nor are they going to come out to the middle of Idaho or Nevada to help me out when I need some technical assistance.

Did all of you pay only $10 for the shop manual?

Also, I am referring to the manual that is used by the dealers for their mechanics. correct?

I didn't buy it yet but yes, that was the price quoted to me. Pretty cheap to put it on CD compared to cost of printing and mailing.

I got mine for $10, and it is the "WORKSHOP" manuals for all the '08 Husky, along with the parts catalogs, owners manuals and fork manuals.

Yes friend, you can have all this for the one low price of just $10.

I took a memory stick to my dealer and he loaded all the manuals for me. They have access to them on the dealer login . . . or they did.

Kinko's (assuming you want it in color) will cost more than the price of a new duplex color printer.

Have you checked the Husky section on Thumpertalk ? That's
where I found mine.

I just checked - there is an 06/07 TE610 english only manual, but not a 2008 TE610 manual.

Best to call & order the manual by phone. I don't think it is available to order online.

It's a great manual, but the multiple languages can be frustrating!

Amen. I printed the entire manual out (I wasn't paying for it :D) and the whole multiple language thing is very confusing.
