• 4 Stroke Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Italy - About 1989 to 2014
    TE = 4st Enduro & TC = 4st Cross

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

08 TXC250 Weight...

Every girl lies about her weight and your sexy Italian is no exception! Mine is "bigger" boned than yours.

I find the fascination with weight funny. I know my bike weighs a lot more than a YZ250 but I still prefer it greatly every day all day. :D

My fascination is actually your inability to relate with us beginners that feel the weight more than a good/experienced rider such as yourself. After you pick it up off the ground as much as I do, believe me you feel/notice the weight! Can't I just have it all, which includes this bike at 30 lbs lighter? That's why I wish they made a 200 lbs WR 200 in the new frame!

Stop dropping your bike.

- Drive down and drop it with Jake and I tomorrow. You'll have to lave your place about 3 am so go to bed now. :D

Just so everyone knows, my ability jumped 10 fold when I jumped from my 2001 Honda cr250 to my 2008 te450...just like that!

Ain't that the truth!

Where are you guys riding tomorrow?

I am providing this for informational purposes only...

Someday someone will search for the info, and find it.

When I was looking there was very little info on the TXC250, there was one picture online. Hopefully I will be able to provide some sort of usefulness to the Husky community.

Stop beating me up about it. :D

We had that discussion a little while ago. I vaguely recall someone calling the company and the result was it was not an easy thing to implement.

u should try and get an ebatt for your bike, i put one in mine and it saved a couple pounds and it was super noticable since the battery is so hi on the bike

plus it starts FASTER!

Just put the Turn Tech 2.5ah battery in mine and it's working great. Only 0.9lbs

Yep, I have had mine in for 5 months and it has been flawless, even running a 8" HID and MR16 helmet light from the bike.

I hope someone gets a real world weight like this for the new TC, TXC and TE250. I suspect the new bike will be at least ten pounds lighter, but probably not more than 15.

What did you do to the bike so that it could run all those lights?

Trail Tech stator and Reg/Rec, 100 watts at idle...:applause:

They should have plug and play kits available soon, or Kelly can get you the kit shotgunscott and I used if you want it sooner. Some wiring required.
