  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

09 TE-310 Mileage???

Question for 310 owners....

What kind of mileage are you wringing out of the 310?

Street/Dual sport

Dirt

Race pace?

Looking at picking up a small do it all bike with a plate...and I love my TE610 so much the 310 is at the top of the heap....

I did the search and found a good break down on the 510...mileage wise, just curious on the little brother.

Thanx!

Still "breaking" my 310 in, but appears I'll be pushin at about 60 miles at a good trail pace, and closer to 50ish at race pace. Not what I was hoping for, but the bike works so good, I'm not going to complain. Extremely impressed with the 310 coming off a 450. Not the best source to answer your question, but the best I've got to date!

On a recent ride on my 09 310 the fuel light came on at just about 60 miles. This ride was a good mix of aggressive trail riding and some roads. At the gas station the bike took exactly 1.5 gallons so I got about 40mpg on that ride. With .4 left in the tank I had maybe 10-15 miles or so on reserve.
