• Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Sweden - About 1988 and older

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

175 cr/wr/xc 83 parts list needed

My eyes are not what they use to be, that being said they all look like stock Husky exhaust pipes too me.

On a 125 81/82 the exhaust is on the left.
On a 125 83 the exhaust is on the right ( see pics).
It is welded differently than on a PC or 175 exhaust.
The 2 cones are welded near the spark plug.

Well my last post might not work out as the 83 250's all have a small plate tacked to the pipe with the part # stamped into it. I just checked my 83 125CR and their is no plate or part # stamped anywhere. But please check out the 175cc just incase.

Joe, Yes, going to Dual sport on sat and show on Sunday. Look for me at show area, I will be judging.
See you then

Bill,
Thanks for looking. I figured as much after my 83 125CR pipe did not have one. o'well it was just a thought as it would have been nice if they would have stamped them like they did the 250cc's

I have a 1982 XC125 that has a 175 kit that needs a piston. It has the 125 top end on it now.I am looking to sell it it for $800.

FWIW on 125 pipes....... I personally asked Mitch Payton at a SX if he remembered anything about the pipes for 81 CR125's. He told me they cut their RM125 pipe to fit the Husky.
