As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!
Hopeing to have a completed bike picture for you by sunday. You keep teasing up with these itty bitty pics, we want some full on shots of the whole bike...come on now quite being hard to get!
You need to get some real carbon fiber on this bike, maybe a custom airbox, handle bars, or a carbon fiber gas tank so you don't ding up that nice original.
Anyway, beautiful work!
I always tip well,Cheers mate. You overpaid me, and it appears I can't ship bottle rockets. I can provide cold refreshments however, see you in Odessa WA in April?

You will absolutley think that you have a hyd. clutch!
These units are works of art.
Yes i was dumb and painted it gold, looks cool till you clean the sand off it in between jetting.Do my eyes deceive me or is the carb gold too? Just paint or some other special treatment? Really like the front number plate replacement with the white husky logo!
Not sure if the clutch lever is after market,i nickel plated it.I have ASV on my modern TC450 and just put an ASV F-3 series propack on Logans KX 65.
I love them too!!!
Now tell me... did you have to get a cable extender or longer adjustment Slotted Thumb screw to make them work in place of the Maguras? And are you using the same handle/perch combo on each side?
Post up pics of the actual cable in place ( showing adjustment length and overall length of teh thumbscrew adjuster.
It looks like you have the newer stepped aftermarket clutch pull down on the case ? Am I right?
Love this build!
