As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!

If you or anyone else out there is looking for a super quiet and lightweight silencer for a 390 or 430 i have a custom made aluminum silencer/sparkarrestor that i only ran one day and then i decided to go with a down pipe.
It was custom made to my specs by the owner of Dynoport pipes and it comes with high temp. silicone connector.
I really like that front disc brake.. and the black stock tank you put on is exactly what I like. It's beautiful. I'm going to investigate some kind of rear disc brake setup in the future . The downpipe reminds me of my Bultaco I had.. It should be excellent for the sand. I got an old white tank like this to use until I redo the stock tank .. I never saw a black plastic one before.. I did see a yellow though. Hey that skid plate looks great too!!! Thanks! I'll need that where I'll be riding my husky.
My next add on is a Thunder Products Intelajet system from:
www.thunderproducts.com
Here are some pictures of how it is mounted on my carb.
simply drill and tap a 10-32 hole and position it in centerline of carb bore.
I wasn't planning on getting a pipe...I mean silencer/spark arrestor . Mine looks good but...
Sounds interesting.. How much you looking to get for it?
This is where i mounted the fuel and air mixture manifold using a piece of 1" alum. ange iron so i could adjust it on the fly!Looks very interesting, please make sure to post a ride report.
