    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

1988 400WR?

Got pulled over by cops for speeding down the freeway they asked me " any reason why your doing 120 in a 110 zone sir?", I told them i had some grinding dust in my eye which was making my eyes water and had to close them for some minor relief, they said "so"..I said "well if i would have seen you I would have slowed down" got let off with a warning.
 
that's your eyes...mine are down and I struggle to see. ol mate (who I could confidently round up previously) had his eyes lasered and I cant see which way he went now:mad::confused:

I did it and it's worth it! Now if I could get rid of the reading glasses...
 
I have a short vision left eye and along vision right eye...great, I can read and I can see in the distance clearly...the area about 50m in front of me is a bit blurry and rocks and logs can "appear" without warning from there:eek: . so after a few spine tingling impacts im getting gun shy of the blur zone:(
 
My eyesight isn't too bad (despite what my wife says, along with my hearing.... ), at 57 I need glasses for reading but anything beyond that is quite good luckily.

the wife complained about my"selective" hearing so I went and got a test and passed with full hearing Ha that shut her up for a bit..:p
