• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Joe, I see a striking resemblance between you and Eddie from Eddie and the Cruisers, especially when your having your smoky treat.:D
 
I'm a huge fan of privacy. Let me know which ones you want taken down. I'll number them so you can reference them.

You are welcome to email to webmaster@cafehusky.com whatever you want. Don't think there are any size limitations on my end regarding attachment sizes.


Or maybe people are happy enough with what has been posted already, I really don't know.

Just a heads up - I have not received any CD in the mail yet, but coming from the east coast can take a bit of time - Saturday? Monday?
 
cant rush perfection..........burning many and that takes time. Just finished all the editing and have a race tmrw so will mail this week. over 100 pics so it is worth the wait.

I am not in any rush, but the kids sometimes loose the mail. Just let us know when you mail them out so I can be the look out.

Joe's riding NETRA Hell in the Hills(formerly Mud Slinger) Enduro. I wish I was riding Moonshine, but wife just had chemo treatment.

I got to be a part of the group, "Hi Norm!" on the phone earlier Saturday, but couldn't hang around long enough to meet you. Again, I hope everything is going well for you and yours:)

As the old saying goes.... Next year in Jerusalem! I talked with my riding buddy Walter(landowner for last years NE Husky Gathering) and he would like to do it again at his farm. He and his wife really enjoyed the event last year and helped out quite a bit. There are some other options on the table, as well. Sorry I didn't get to attend, ride and meet everyone. A big thanks to Joe and Kara, to all the participants and all the sponsors.... you know who you are!

Gonna use the shirt $ for more coolstuff for Jean Foley. Me and K are gonna take a visit drive as soon as we get the word from Norm and let her know all her husbands crazy Husky friends are supporting her 101% and we care so much.
