  • Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

2009 txc 250-pops and wont run

2009 txc 250 has maybe 25 very easy hrs on it. starting getting hard to start and then ran very poorly in the woods? had carb set and everything was ok, have heard head gasket, but not losing much fluid. any suggestions?
 
Check intake boot on the carb? I had a FI Husky develop a air leak that pop like that and I thought it was a valve issue. Turned out the Fuel Injection popped out of the air boot. Just a guess.
 
Its ur head gasket! :banghead: Thats why u have all the anifreeze bubbling out the overflow! Just take it over to Halls and ask for clint! I talked to him after foxvalley and he thought head gasket too...

Mac 75? Holy cow, no wonder why you are soooo fast****************************************!! You're so freakn young********************************************************************************!!HA!HA! Yah, i called down there and i think im gonna run it down there. I had wwwwaaaaayyyy too much water in it. I was just in a huge panic**************************************** I tried last fox valley and just wouldnt run right at all, so i thought i would give you and Dean a fair shot at the title! My boy won ironman and fox valley champ, finished like 5th in district for stadium mx, and 4th overall at mendota. Not bad for his first year. Got any buds in ktm 50's? i bought my boy an older one for harescrambles next yr and bought him a cobra for mx. thanx for all your help this year with me the big ole greenhorn. Just a side note, lots of property right off I-39 down my way selling for decent price. Just missed 18.4 acres half field half nice timber for $61,500.00 on auction. Im looking to get into something for some "xtra" riding for my son. Later.
