  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

YES! it is at Fox Powersports in Herkimer NY....no BS and I stand to gain nothing by letting this out...was going to get it, but I am deciding to hold off for a while.....so, if you wanna be one of the first to get this bike, call Terry. The bike is amazing in person...

Eagle has landed in MI too

... talked to the guys in Battle Creek and they had just received their first TC250 this afternoon. Supposed to be built by Saturday - don't buy it before I get a chance to look at it!

Ridersville Cycle in Berkeley Springs WV has two of them, have not run yet but reports I am hearing is they fire right up very easily. Has me thinking now, Carb, Extremely light, get a black 18 inch rim from Hall's for $99.00... I could be riding by next weekend.

Just got a call from Toy Tech, yep them too.
Just got off the phone with Scott From Toy Tech. They've got 2 in as well. Initial starting report was good. 1st kick out of the box and subsequent cold starts. I'm going to call him back later or tomorrow to see how it starts hot. Now I gotta find $6K!

OK, now that a few bikes are hitting the showroom, what is the going price?? I suspect there won't be many discounts on them so I'm curious to know what the MSRP is in the USA?

Don't worry there will be free test rides on it if I decide to get one. Although maybe I will have a tip jar once you get back from the ride to help with the payments.

We got three today. Taking mine riding on Monday, I'll post some feedback. Great timing for comparison I am going to the same track for the third weekend in a row 1st on a '07 Kaw 250f with a 290 kit, then on a stock TXC250 and this week on the TC. By the way the bike looks SICK!!!

Stopped in at Fox powersports today. The new TC250 is already gone, and several more people are lining up for the next one. They do have a new TE310 in that looks pretty sweet.

Talked with MFI in Manassas, Va. and they got one TC in last week also. I'm thinking about a TE or TXC if one of the local shops like MFI or Ridersville gets one in soon :D
