WOW, is that little TC250 just an amazing bike for scrambles/xc races! I just love mine. The TC 250 is truly the best handling motorcycle I have ever ridden and this comes from a guy who also owns a 2010 Berg FE390.
I have put in a JD jet kit with the carb updates, a 2010 WR125 gas tank, JD jet kit and Enduro Engineering revalve on the forks. Otherwise the bike is stock.
This bike has bumped me up a level in riding. I have won my class the last 2 races I have been in and overalled the morning class at an XC race last weekend.
The bike has performed flawlessly. 1st kick on the line. I stalled it 2x and I pulled in the clutch and bump started it once. The other time took 3 kicks with the hot start and away it went.
Everyone is all gaga about the TEs and TXCs but dont overlook the TC. It really, really works great in the woods with minimal mods. I truly believe it is a better choice for a woods racer for the serious guy than the fuel injected bike is.
