  • Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

2011 310te

has anyone ridden the 2011 310te? is the hesitation immed off idle gone? any better low end power?

yes there was a slight hesitation but not as bad as the 250's a little tune with i beat and it will be great

ps.....i rode the 310 straight out of the box it had 0km and i thaugh it was great then so with the efi set it well be great
 
thanks,pls post your impressions upon tuning with the ibeat. there are two switchable maps, is one better (less hesitation)?
 
It'd be nice to see such a great brand get their crap together...It's sad to say I won't by one of their bikes because the FI seems to SUCK!!! My dad had problems back with an 08 model 450 THAT NEVER ENDED! Kind of like being different but going with one of their 2 strokes(excluding small bore) isn't the answer either...KTM says, "Contingency this year..." I just laugh knowing that a hard year of racing only earns you $250 in the A class if you win your class...Nothing like Husky Contingency, 150 a race for first place A class!!! So do these 11's actually run right???
 
I'm not an EFI guy but JDJetting has something out there specific to the 310s EFI ... I'm thinking people are figuring this EFI out ...At least JD is doing work there ... Seemed like from all the threads on the EFI issues, $ was the answer for buying all the needed hardware to fine tune the bike...

There was some reviews of the 250/300 WRs also in the link above ... These bikes are still winning races around the globe ... Might be a new 2t out for 012 from Husky

I really like my 08 TXC250 ... The 08-09 models have the CARBS and a 310 kit is available for ~< 700.00 ..
 
2011 TE 310 had off idle hesitation out of box, during the power up i forgot to change the exhaust tip to the short screen, and leaned out the efi and has worked flawlessly for over 20 hrs now
