  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

2011 TE449 Running well with factory EFI system - finally

Well Ladies/Gents this could be the trip too try it all out,
Lets all jump on board for a [Husqvarna Week End Get Together] [meet/greet]
Then you can all talk about this in person and ride.

Took mine out on a smr511 with a ti arrow slip on and race map 2, only made a little difference. I think i need to adjust the by pass screw its at 2.5 turns out and tps reset. Will be fitting a titanium megabomb and PCV with autotune when i get time...

get the akropovic setting on your ecu..... but remember, even with the akro setting, the map2 sign in the dash will remain.

Quick question, has anyone activated the power commander accelerator pump function? I have my map quite rich at the 0,2,5% throttle points. I am thinking I could lean it out and use the pump function to sharpen it back up?

Try both the acc pump function and the idle function. Both seem to affect the bottom end as much as the green. On my bike with the butterfly removal the bottom end became amazing but the mid and top needed some fine tuning.

 Well I have to say today I had race map3/akro/meo ecu setting done today what can I say:banana: Yes Mr Banana descibes how I felt about the bike. And to Dangermouse449 I :applause: what a great job resolving many issue's for many people. THANK-YOU.

Great news Mr Ford.
Another one for the plus side.

Yes Dangermouse449 after removing the Butterfly , the cable cam from the shaft & removed the arm from the manual throttle ,Race Map 3 and Pro circuit pipe what a different bike , plenty of power from down low enough to pull that front tyre up high to pulling easy 120kms ,I liked the bike before but now love it.
Just have to work out how to have switchable mapping.

Sorry mate i've got my young bloke this week end , thanks for the invite he is only 15 . That is a good ride I've done it a couple of times , should be nice a slippery , Last time I was up there , there was a massive tree across the track we had to carry 12 - 15 bikes over . Again thank you and enjoy your ride.

Weird. It must be because you are modified so much. Mine works fantastically with map 3 and lets say 10%+ at 0,2,and 5 with pcv and nick burson ignition map.

Auto tune also helps above that. I am going to try the AP function as you describe.
