• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Ran it through a translator...

NOTE: These are rumors. There is probably substance to them, but expect details to be wrong...

New 250/300 two stroke block. Direct Injection probably next year.

Hello Big Block X-Lite engines. Based on the graphic, the new big TE will NOT have CTS.

The WR250R is a new constructed two stroke. This implementation in 250 and 300 cc will be brought to market. The block is totally new, and the rumors speak of a direct injection of the fuel in the cylinder, but it can also be that that item will come only in 2014 on the production machines and that the WR in 2013 with carburetor delivered is going to be.

At the TE449R is retired from the BMW-block. Husqvarna now has itself developed a new block, a cross between their old TE450 (which inter alia in the Super moto has done so well with many world titles) and the TE250/TE310 X-light so successful. Therefore also the nickname "X Gets the TE449-Light '. In addition to this great news are also the TE250 and TE310 BRAVIA upgraded. current These two models get both the complete new cylinder head with the Red valve cover, sourced from the MX2-GP 's. The new type designation is TE310R and TE250R.

I predict a bike so F'ING good that I never have to read about any other BS bike in the Husqvarna Cafe.

My prediction for 2013 is that im going to continue riding/racing the crap out of my 2011 TE310 and beating most other guys in my class with an undersuspended, underpowered, no good FI system, small valve, blackheaded, weird, non competitive motorcycle with zero DNFs.
viva la testa nera****************************************
