• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

TE/TC 2014 TC 1215 dyno test

Thanks and this is some real, really good PUB for the new Huskies! That is, if the number displayed at the end of the video is big enough for you guys and girls..

I gotta say, that bike did not sound like a yamaha ...(as my 08 WR 250 does :()

The number isn't as important as doing side by side comparisons on the same day under exactly the same conditions. I would be more interested in the shape of the curve than a number that you can't really compare to anything else. I have seen 125 sx's have dyno readings anywhere from 25 to 42. Supposedly the same model bike. There probably isn't a whole lot of difference between the peak numbers from the old 125 and the new Austrian 125 as delivered to dealers.

didnt i ask this??? yes i did .YES VAGINA [lol] THERE IS A KTM 144 [or was] KIT in like 06
Yes you did, so untwist your knickers son...:busted: I don't think it's currently available.... :banghead: It sure isn't listed in the Power Parts Catalog and never mentioned on KTM Talk.:excuseme: 8 years in KTM years is a lifetime ago.....:oldman:

Oh my god. I cant stop laughing!
I was watching this video and my gf goes "why are you watching chainsaw videos"

This one a few below sounds much more motorcycle like :P

On the track at Anza the TC125 felt just like a Husky Cr125 even the handleing seemed really close to me,almost identical on that course.Even bottom end felt alot like the Italian Husky ,I had no gripes it seemed great.Didnt get to ride in wood conditions but steering felt alot like CR125.

that is good news bill....the KTM is a nice 125.....too bad no TE 125. hate to spend alot converting a TC. hate more to pay for something you cannot/wont use (small tank, 19 in rim and spokes)

Do they handle like a Husky and will they last as long as a Husky? I'm asking pre KTM Husky.........

Thanks . Never been on one (125 KTM) and was wondering. I've been on and owned all four Japanese 125's and 250's over the years and always thought my 08 Husky 125/144/165 felt a bit more solid and comfy for me.
