• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

2015 Husky Moto3

Moto3 is cool.

4 stroke 250. It replaced the GP125 class. I always wanted to race a 125 since classes had fewer riders and not like the multi wave under 600 class. If I could pick up a Moto3 bike it would be fun for track days. Don't need to go over 130mph.

They make kits to convert 450's into sportbikes:)

Maria Herrera became the first woman to win a Moto3 championship this weekend when she claimed the Motorland Aragonround of the CEV (España de Velocidad Championship). The Spanish 16 year old from Toldeo dominated the race leaving the men to fight behind for the remaining podium places. Eight thousand fans watched the historic victory. Maria rides for Junior Team Estrella Galicia and previously finished eleventh and 13th in the Catalunyan races. She now lies third in the championship.

She gets a cool trophy and the guy on the left got a can of spray paint?

Congratulations Ms. Herrera and it's a Husqvarna world via SP ...

Spotted her big sister last weekend at a race just standin' and waitin' ...

Laia Sanz in Dakar top ten, Vicki Golden trying to be the first woman to qualify for SX, and this girl... that rocks.

Most... GP races moto3 is the most entertaining.

2014 Moto3 was possibly one of the best championship years of any class that I have seen. Even moreso that fellow Aussie Jack Miller won the first few rounds and led the championship for most of the year. Pity about the final result but you take the good with the bad. I hope he can repeat his success in MotoGP this year.

"At present the Bajaj-built KTM range consists of the naked Duke and the RC sportbike models. You told me two years ago you envisaged a dual-purpose enduro range being built there, too. Will that still happen?"
"Not yet. Not an enduro model as such. The next new models that are coming out of India are the Vitpilen and Svartpilen concept bikes that you saw in Milano on the Husqvarna stand... ...those two concept models you have seen are very close to the production versions. In the 2017 model year they will be on the dealer's floor..."
