• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I'm certainly AOK with all this... That home court advantage that was so touted at the USAGP where the AMA riders trounced the FIM guys, ..well, the AMA riders just happened to do just about that same work again on their home track ... Easy math ..Talent and skill trump a home court ..

Lets hope this holds true for the race tomorrow ... All classes race each other once and anything can happen ...Usually comes down to the last race for settling the results : MX + Open classes :) ... The Ryan Express in 011 rolling over all the biggest names in EU is a very good example of such a feat ...

Looks like Ben came to race also ... But, keep in mind that with the FIM rules (?), 2 day racing format, this racing means nothing but a gate pick in the real race tomorrow. Most important thing today to have something in the tank for tomorrows' racing.

And Max might be back :)

These results are almost funny after watching these 2 AMA guys race all yr ...

~4 secs between the current FIM champ and a 2nd yr AMA 250 rider on a 450 bike that he is riding in his second race? This is just a qualifying race ... real results come with 24 hrs...

Guess Dean decided he wanted to be a MX racer..

I get a broke link off that page ..

These guys are racing in a time zone only 6 hrs behind me ... I get up so late, pretty good timing for me ...

Here's the total break down from qualifying ...

Down to the final day of racing .... Then another day or 2 of crying ... Then onto 016 and SX racing, waiting on the MX racing later in 016 ... Ain't life grand?

And we get 017 Huskies ... These are the models that might break away from the current models that are so KTMish... By 019, I might can purchase one of these bikes at a price that seems reasonable ... Same plan, same Bat Channel that I have written out here before ...

With the Huskies selling so well, SP is gonna have a hard time making a ~big change between the Huskies and the orange bikes.... That's his call ... And the beat goes on and the beat goes on ...

--

I'll just add, that the smooch fest on the web with the French is getting a little hard to read today ... In the interest of good public reading, I certainly hope someone puts an end to it.

I'm with you buddy ... That's both the 250 AND 450 models ... Specifically, the ones with the small stars&stripes sticker on them...

Women and children... Please stand back as our riders do the work required ...
