• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

TE/TC 2015 TC 250 Full Race Mods

I think slow guys like me can make them work, if you stick to one type of terrain. I just heard from a friend, who rode the Graham Jarvis riding school, this past weekend.... Graham rides and races them stock.
He doesnt count, the rest of us need all the help we can get :)

Chilly had me pretty excited about the 4cs before I bought my bike, because he stated that Graham traded his works stuff for the 4cs. Then after I rode it a while I thought he had a crack dream or was paid to say it. Must be some truth in it though. I admit I like them on big hits and bottoming situations. Maybe air rider can chime in since he bought Grahams 300.

hMax, I'm a little curious on the terms 'big hits and bottoming situations' you are using above... I've seen a few other threads where the faster enduro type riders seem to indicate that their forks use the ~entire range of travel of the forks when riding ... That's 11, 12 inches of travel? Is that what you are wanting out there?

Yep, Airrider should tell more on that bike :)...

Here's a look at Craig's '14 TC250, ECEA classifieds. You need to be a member to open attachments, but here they are to see the machine!

Kind of. My friend has a GP style track that we ride. There are a few jumps that I over jumped, logs that I slammed over and some creek banks I jumped off of just to see how the forks would feel and was surprised. This bike compared to my old 07 510 was night and day. Granted this bike is lighter by quite a bit, but it didn't get squirrelly after landing and wasn't harsh at all.
So basically I would like to be able soften the first half or 2/3 of the stroke and keep the bottoming resistance the same.
