• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

TE/TC 2015 wheel specs

Smw

Husqvarna
B Class
Does anyone have specs for the 2015 wheels? I have a second set of wheels that I used on my 2013 and wondered if they were same axle and spacer size. I read that 2014 ktms had different sizes.

Any intel is appreciated.

Scott

IN THE OVERALL OPTIMISATION OF THE CHASSIS, THE MY15 MOTOCROSS BIKES FEATURE A NEW 22MM FRONT AXLE WITH SPECIFIC FORK SHOES IN PLACE OF THE PREVIOUS 26MM AXLE. THE NEW AXLE IS LIGHTER, AND THE SHOES HAVE SHORTER OFFSET AND INCREASED TRAIL, FOR MORE STABILITY AND BETTER FRONT-END FEEL.

I copied this from the Husqvarna website about the 15 TC250.

I think the old wheels fit because of the spacer design REPEAT ---THINK !!!
The bearings are the same size its just all the spacers that need replacing or swapping from wheel to wheel.
This is only what I have been led to believe so you would have to compair wheels to see if this is the case.

I'm going to find out very soon... I'll be trying my '12 Husaberg TE250 spare wheels, on my '15 Husky TE125.

Yaa, as long as you lace the "Old wheel" to the new hub on the front. As BDHANSON said, the axle is smaller. Its now 22mm.

I've used my spare wheel set on a variety of bikes including older Ktm's and my huskybergs. All you need to do is change to the proper wheel spacers. Unlike Japanese bikes, the ktm style wheel spacer inserts into the bearings, acting as a bushing between the bearing and axel. This allows them to use the same wheel hub and bearings over multiple models.

I'm looking at getting one of the No Pinch tire tools and cant seem to find the size of the front and rear Axle on the 2015 TE 250. Does anyone know this off hand before I go pull the wheels off?
