• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

December 3, 2016 Los Ancianos Tecate Enduro
New Format. We do it the Anciano way!
The basics:
• 3 loops, 25 miles of primarily single track. Each loop is a special test, no transfer sections or resets within the loops. Short breaks between loops....
• Elders and women do 2 loops.
• 4 or 5 riders start per minute.
• Reset Times between each loop. You will return to the main pit area.
• Your elapsed time starts on your minute whether you are there or not – don’t be late!
• Scores based on lowest overall elapsed times.
Entries open October 1, 2016. All entries will be done online at www.losancianos.com
We have lots of details to work out between now and the event so we don’t have all the answers right now. Please post your questions on the Los Ancianos Facebook Group and we will try to answer them as we figure out the details.

I'll be ready.....
Well, at least the BIKE will be!
Shoot, if Graham Jarvis can overall erzberg and Romaniacs on this same basic platform, I should be able to at least finish the enduro!
Now I just have to figure out a way to ride more than once a month

uh oh I better get more serious bout this.....if I want one of these again.
8th from 47, 50+ open, fairly certain it is the last trophy slot....skin of the teeth position. Still proud to compete against former pros and ISDE vets and sort of hang with the program.

48 hours and sold out...wow, we are IN**************************************** I swear I am going speak with the grand poobahs of LAMC and recommend they run another race some time in the spring on an off weekend between any nationals the opposite direction as this one!!!

There goes another trip to Baja :).... looking at flights now.... Hope I can find a place to test out the 450x before race time.....

Hare Scramble 2012 version-- just to get the terrain brain in tune. A really good LAMC viddy production. The guy with KX100 was talking about our resident French guy Cyril, he was on the KTM200 in the h cam viddy. Danny LaPorte in JT gear at min 14:52 on the Husky TXC250, DNF due to twisting the crap out of knee. For competitors I dont think we will get this far south from the RSV hotel start finish for this years event.
