• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

A Class
Got my 150 about week ago and can honestly say its everything I was hoping it would be and more. Never owed a Husky or Ktm for that matter and been on a 4t for last 3years and just wanted to go back to 2t. Was about to pull trigger on 250 when heard there was a 150 coming and it was worth the wait. We got into offroad four years ago after growing up racing mx on and off mostly on 2t. We go to GNCC,National Enduro ,full gas sprint enduro whatever we can find to race. I'm a vet rider 5'9" 157 in riding gear. The 150 will absolutely rip with me on it. Jetting was off good bit but nothing you cant tune out in a little bit. Suspension is probably best out the door stock bike that I have rode.Factory Connection has done suspension on several of my bikes but don't think they'll see the 150. Which is great to buy a new bike and not drop another big lump getting suspension dialed to rider specs! It would suffer on mx track but that's not what its for anyhow. Really got it for enduro and full gas enduro was going to keep my 4t for Gncc but I think I'm gonna rip the 150 in last two gncc I love dang thing that much.

Really making me think I need to replace my 2013 husky wr165 with one of these. Also would take my Lectron off wr for this bike, bet it would make it run smooth.

I can't afford new right now so my plan is to keep my nicely setup '06 165 for a couple more years and then hopefully some of these 150's will start showing up on the used market and I'll pick one up then.

I just put a deposit down on one, feelin like a kid on christmas after reading the couple reviews there is out on this bike.

Ya, they're getting pricey, but I do like the initial reports that you don't have to drop $1000 into the suspension right away.

Thought I would post a follow up of the aftermarket mods added to the 150. Plan on keeping it simple.

1 Tubliss front and rear( Love this setup for traction rear and the obvious no flats to end my race/day)
2 New tires front and rear(stock rear was wearing quickly front was ok just prefer a mx32)
3 Flexx Bars/pillowtop grips(stock bar was fine didn't like the lock on grips though and this is setup I'm use to)
4 Fasst Co. brake spring (got use to way makes brake feel)
5 Stickman Graphx (should have my numbers on bike this week)
Other than getting the carb jetted, all bolts Loctite, and everything greased properly( you really need check this bike mine had very little grease on linkage and steering bearings) I'm not saying you couldn't ride it without doing any of this but bolts will be lost and bearings will prematurely wear and the carb will be real fat. May mess around with gearing after more seat time seems pretty good stock and may tinker with my fork oil a little when get bout 20hrs but all in all this bike for my size skill and type riding is really really good. Its not like you get it and start figure out what big dollar things to do first. Its all small comfort/preference changes.
