  • Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

:applause:just fitted new stator that received yesterday and have spark,will let lock-tight set.Might take for ride this weekend.:banana::banana:
 
Still got a weak spark on Husky(yellow and intermitent when earthed to expansion chamber)any ideas?.Ive replaced the coil,stator and CDI.Im wondering about a bad earth,if so where and how is it done
 
there is a wire from the ignition to the coil, check it for continuity
had that problem, clean all the connections and use dielectric grease
 
:doh: yeah my 360 done the stator again on the weekend,so I am back to the start again not happy.
 
Tzedz bike going fine rode about 10min from ute it stoped,restarted then when 300m then died.Was not happy had to push it back to ute up and down gully's and was in the mid-afternoon so was not happy. Stator wrecked so will get it rewound in the new year.

Likewise,been off the road now 3 months,changed every electrical component,still no spark,next the loom(its in such a bad state),now one around here will touch them for repairs.Also the bolts holding on the stator plate are riddiculously small ,i used spring washers and really torqued them up,i havent used loctite,as i was close to stripping the heads upon removall.
 
So can anyone tell me if the stator out of a 92 will work in a 95 . Also are most of the other engine parts inter changeable?
 
Well about to step back in time, got 95 wr360 going today. Put rewound stator in bike has not been going for over a year. Second kick it fired up. Bring back the Bigbanger. Carnt wait to ride a two stroke again.
