  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

250-500cc 360 rear tire

I currently have the MOTOZ tractionator x-circuit ( I think ) on my 360. One week of riding for 4+ hours per day and no knobs gone. I had the michelin s-12 and it was not happy after a week of the same terrain riding.

Going around sandy corners excellent traction, up in rocky hill climbs or going down, I didn't have any problems. The best tire I've used so far. I thought for sure the knobs would be missing but nope.
I have the same on my wr ,work great in all terrain and wear like iron:thumbsup:

Maxxis Desert IT....l'm telling ya only a StoneKing gets more mileage than the maxxis on my 360 - the rest (Bridgestone 404's, Michelin's, Pirelli's) offer better grip but l'm sick of chewing knobs of these tyres every third ride and getting a new tyre.
you talking the mitas stoneking OMG? got one on me 300 ready to try! told they wear very well, not sure on grip though?

Yep shawry..stoneking get fantastic wear and great on hard pack...if its the CO-4 you may not like it as they tend to step out quite easily due to the straight across row pattern, if they had that extra knob in between would make these tyres numero uno...still powerslides like crazy!

yeh C04 i think straight across pattern like you said. coming into dry season up here so mainly dry hard pack, ill see how it goes as soon as i pull my finger out & get the 300 sorted! big deep knobs so should throw some roost & wear well but yeh the edge(shoulder) doesnt look the grippiest. tyres dont last that long up here anyway! i stand erected its a C02 actually
