• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

630 Trouble...

Gardezy

Husqvarna
B Class
Hey wondering if anybody has a clue as what the problem for my sms 630 might be?... The bike is flashing neutral and when I engage the key the fuel pump works, but fan kicks in and runs,as well the bike keeps flashing neutral while I am riding.... possibly a new fuse needed? or is it something to do with my dash as it gets a shit ton of condensation inside it to the point where it will cut out fully and not work. Until left with direct sunlight on it that is.

Thanks for your help and ideas.

The shop manual says the following. I don't have any personal experience, but I thought this might get you started in your investigation.

"Functions of the GREEN warning light (4)“NEuTRAL” in case of FuEL INJECTION SYSTEM malfunction (contact your local HuSQvARNA Dealer) a) With the GEARBOX NOT in NEuTRAL position: the warning light
FLASHES INTERMITTENTLY. b) With the GEARBOX in NEuTRAL position: the warning light is initial-
ly constantly ON then it FLASHES TWICE IN RAPID SuCCESSION then returns to being constantly ON. This cycle repeats itself.
After eliminating the malfunction, the warning light (4) returns to its normal operation."

ok, thanks, its running as smooth as it was before the flashing started I am not sure what the deal is you would think if it was fuel injection system problem the bike would be running like garbage

If the fan was on it sounds like a loose connection at the temp sender or was bad acting up for minute, they dont usually fix themselves but first symptom is the fan on.

yes sir the fan is on whenever the key is engaged.

If the fan is on all the time then it's most likely the water temperature sensor has failed. Need to see your dealer to have it replaced.
