    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

630SM to Nuda

Just handed in my 630 (a rattling noise coming out of the head and water out of the plastic bottle). The local BMW shop that had Husky is keeping the brand. They gave me a Nuda till I get my 630 back so I had the opportunity to see what I was missing. Not much! The Nuda seems even heavier than the 630. It also seems slower while powering through the gears ... but easier to wheely. The thing that impressed me most is that it wont lean into a turn. Almost as if it´s got a gyro keeping it upright (feels as if the wheels are flat). And sitting that low takes some getting used to. The two cylinders make a pleasant sound out of the single zorst but I miss the aggressive bark of the 630. All in all I prefer the 630 greatly.

But it's a naked streetbike, not a supermoto, so making it corner deep is going to take a bit more effort on your part.
 
I suspect the Nuda is not setup for you hence your experience.
My 1100 Hyper wouldn't "turn in" until the rear suspension was dialed in for my ability and weight.
Now it's just as fun as my SM when riding in its element.
 
Could be. They said that power/up was more complicated than just unplugging the cat. The bike seems much faster than the tach displays. My 630 is just about GPS accurate, so that´s the measure for me. But seeming to be faster is likely to be the result of sitting lower. Like most Huskys, the stand is a b*gger ( hard to find with my boot while sitting on the bike and the hook that`s welded on catches your leg when pushing the bike. I´m getting fonder of the bike but it´s nowhere near as nimble through heavy traffic as the 630SM.
