• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

630TE Arrow twin cans --Question

Blazes

Husqvarna
AA Class
I was under the impression that the Arrow --Titanium Twin cans are good to slip on the new 630TE and just doing the Lambda plug and Clip--same as my te 610. Today i priced them from my local agent and he said R13K about 2,000 US dollars. He said that unfortuantely the ECU pushed the price up---? am i missing something here ---IS a new ECU is required--i thought not --help

It´s part of the package, included in the (pretty hefty) price.Take a look at the accessories catalogue on the Husqvarna web site and it´ll show the black box next to the twin exhausts.

Thank's will do

the standard power up kit is just a plug for the exhaust (where the lambda sensor was) n a resistor to jump across the wiring when u remove the lambda. No exhaust or ecu required . but the twin arrows sound awsome & it runs hard with the ecu . never tried it with standard power up kit but wasn't half the bike stock.

Welcome to the club! `Tis the same here .... in Germany. Wouldn´t be surprised if you had to go direct to Italy to find a demo bike.

Bad for Bussiness IMHO. Bmw would not hesitate to let me ride one of their bikes--maybe things will change ---

Have just found out that there´s a big new palace that´s just been opened, dedicated to Husqvarna bikes in Munich. So maybe things really are getting better ...

I'm finding the 630 is AWSOME,EXELLENT,BADASS,KICKASS.....
Really it's damm fine . it's a better street bike than i thought possible from a single. and its been giving the mx bikes fits at our local outdoor mx track (natural terrain) spooned on some knobbies yesterday n i'm hitting the mountains for some single track tommorow with a bunch of little bikes.

I haven't heard anyone mention how buttery smooth the hydro clutch is, or how smooth n easy shifting the tranny is. or how perfect the power is
i still have my 04 te 510 but haven't touched it since i got the 630.
can you tell I like it?

Won't help most of you guys but dealership in squamish has demo's both owners have 630's n i think they have a smr510 demo too

Glad you like your bike, but that is putting it on a little thick...

I like mine, but not in that way:D

I'll take a little bike any day for those conditions or trail riding.

Hey I'm a big boy, i like the big bikes. notice i said natural terrain mx.
the bike handles great, has great acceleration, great brakes. it bottoms hard on the g outs n bigger jumps but gobbles up braking bumps n whoops.
