  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

7602 & zipty racing sell parts that have known issues! Don't buy!

no ones biting mate.

so not only did you fail at fixing your bike.. you failed to wind us up over here too on cafe husky..

best of luck with your new bike purchase.

Actually here is the thread where it's confirmed they sold failing parts. Maybe they should get a real engineer in there.

I never had anything bad from 7602. Only good things. And clay always backs his products. Did you even call him before you bad mouth him????

And here is why!

http://www.thumpertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=939353

Messed up how they sent me older parts that have known issues! I'm sending back oily used parts to them on mon. Then will continue to let EVERYONE! I ever come in contact with about my horrible expensive and painfull experience I had with their product. You have been warned!

EVO

I would suggest that you contact 7602 and ZIpTy directly to resolve your problems. Posting your cell number and asking them to contact you through a public forum really serves no purpose other than making it look like you are whining. Get to the root of the problem and fix it.

Furthermore, the use of profanity and the use of threats is not allowed on CH. I have edited your original post. This is not Thumpertalk. IF you feel like posting in this manner again, do it on ThumperTalk...not here.

If you want help, post politely and accordingly. Everyone is here to help.

Yeah, I feel your pain and I think you're letting your emotions get the best of you. I have had issues with ZipTy also, but they were resolved over the phone. I'm pretty sure that if Ty and Clay only sold bad products they wouldn't be in business. It could just be a bad batch or a small run that were affected. I won't believe that either one of them would purposely send out a bad product.

I really hope that you have tried to resolve this by contacting them with no progress prior to posting your argument as that would be very unprofessional. Like everyone else has stated, bikes break and are expensive to maintain properly. Once you get the issue fixed I'm sure you will love the bike!

I have not had an issue with my 7602 piston, or anything else from them or Zip Ty.
good luck getting it sorted out man, and I agree, call the manufacturer first before blasting them on a forum.

The point is parts previous to 09 have failed! So the company should have sent all that batch to a metal scrap yard and continue selling the post 09 products. I already stopped/disputed the payment with my bank. So they will be getting the garbage they make back after Monday.

Well it doesn't take a genious to make alluminum parts that realy have no purpose but to bolt to a frame/bars and look pretty. I'm sure theire chain guides work great. Not much to them.

Your biting.

no offense dude...but ZipTy is a stand up dude and is using his parts...and i guarntee he is using them WAY harder than you ever thought of...

dont know about 7602....

but call Ty and he will work it out....

Guys/Gals - I'm going to ask all of you to tone it down a notch or two. I'm asking EVO to do the same.

Cafe Husky is a high class forum , lets all act that way.

Obviously EVO has a problem with the parts and is unhappy. Let's try and figure out a way to help him...and get his clutch working properly...

I'll take that POS bike off your hands for $500

2.7 k and you got a deal! I will even throw in a crap load of new hydro clutch components for free. But the catch is none of the parts I'm giving work.

I won't be like zipty and 7602 and make you buy them. I would have a guilty concience. So since they want to not take ownership of the problem and instead tell me and my mechanic The parts were put on wrong. Great way to pass the problem off on me. Only problem is I'm not enabled to make the problem right. I don't make bike parts. I work for a 5 star hotel and resolve guests issues everyday! From huge problems to the smallest like cold coffe from the coffe shop inside our property. And when I don't correct the guests problems before they leave our property they will most likely trash talk our property to everyone they talk to and write about it online. Then everyone that works for us nationwide is at risk to losing buisiness. I already stopped/disputed the payments and will send there parts back on mon. Since they want to ignore the issue and claim I'm t fault I must let future customers know the risk in dealing with these 2 companies.

Thank you sir. If you read the post before this one you will understand why I'm frustrated! Customer service is very important to me so much soo I have a job that enables me to do anything! As long as it's not illegal or immoral to fix a problem. Even if it takes a free night in a 400.00 plus room over a bad dining experience.

Awesome now 7602 is trying to call and resolve the issue. It's obviously to late for that. So I ignored the call.

If your reading you should have your part back by wed or Thursday.

And again thanks for the horrible and expensive service! It's sad that I went out of my way on tt and posted how amazing the service was and fast shipping. Guess they gotta reel you in someway! And I took it hook line and sinker. Gotta update that thread now.
