• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

8th Annual NE Husky Gathering 2014

I will be arriving sat am...armed with my 310 minus one spoke. .and my pe250...not sure how the pe will run...havent had a chance to test it out...may just go 50' and die..lol

Looked like the PE was running pretty good near the end of the day,I think you layed down a pretty good fog at the beginning and there won't be any more mosquitos in Cortland this year.

Got some imagerey from an Air Force buddy of the PE going accross the field at Walters when he first started it.

So far got 3 for Bens school on 5 September. Still not enough to run it. Need a few more. Runs from 9am to 3pm.....6 hours long and just 100 bucks! Can't beat that with a stick in the eye.

This guy did not go to Bens school

I must assume the guy was seated for his portrait DEAD.......at first I did not see the other end of the lance.....
Looks like Gregory Baxi was riding the ViNtaGe NOV(B)ice class when his mortal injury occured. Not even those Scott googles could have prevented that impalement. Glad Y'all had a good gathering!! (Except for Gregor)

after doing further historical research....according to historical documents Hungarian Noblemen Gregor Baci survived a year after his lancing at a jousting tournament.......

Norm/Joe,
Chuck texted me last week & he invited me up to his place for a possible ride at Joe's 1 weekend. Your in the same neck of the woods, maybe, we can make it a mini Husky Gathering. I know both Chuck & I wanted to attend the real one.

The leaves will be down before you know it & spoil the party, so lets get something planned

Joe has been trying to get a ride together in Oct. Leaves down spoil the party? That just makes it, so you can't see the rocks and roots and then you can go faster....

It's getting lost in the woods I'm more concern about & getting eaten by a bear.... LOL
