• Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Sweden - About 1988 and older

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

A day in the life of: www.hva-factory.com

I was looking at your online site and found lots of goodies. You are offering some awesome parts we will do more business soon.

I see you have the '77 to '84 cycle world magazine with the cycle world tests on most of the Husqvarnas. I bought one from you since my first one is MIA. I think this magazine is a must for any Husqvarna owner. Lots of info.

Excellent!

We have to trust in our exhaust manufacturer to some degree, so sometimes they can be a little tricky!!!

Thanks for the feedback,

Andy.

Hi Everyone!:)

I am just looking around for a 1987,88' 250WR clutch/transmission cover. any used or NOS? Also..... which radiators are interchangeable for this bike?

Thanks,
Chris

hey Andy, who is this Husqvarna man I see selling stuff..is he for real? seems to have all the "gold plated" stuff

no doubt! im sure it will settle down and all will be good. face it , life goes on, $ changes hands, nothing will stop that. there will be some minor skirmishing around the edges but the main issue of business will continue regardless of where you all sit in the system. least your not paying for the greeks anymore....

britanic??? titanic I think:lol:

The titanic didn't sink it was her sister ship that sank. The titanic wasn't ready for the voyage so the word is they switched names since both ships were the same. They have yet to prove this.

I try to stay away from politics I'm just a worker well I was.

There investigating into it now it's said they swapped the names on the two ships since they were twins. The titanic wasn't ready to sail. IDK but if they prove the ships were swapped that changes the history books.

It's like Columbus wasnt the first one here on the shores of America. Everything we were taught could be a lie.

sister ship the Britannic sank as well after being improved to avoid the fate of the titanic

captain was heard to say " Titanic?? that wasn't an an iceberg...Now this is an iceberg!!!" shortly before all radio comms were lost...
