• Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Sweden - About 1988 and older

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

A day in the life of: www.hva-factory.com

Personally, I cant complain about Brexit, as worldwide sales here are up 100% since!!!

Never been so busy...

Andy.

I did notice we has more chassis orders for the state's since our pound decreased in value.
I don't mind a bag of haribo is still a quid so I'm happy.

We are working on new 83/84 Front Hubs and also Rear Hubs to cover from 82 to 88 in both MX and Enduro form. It is going to take a while, but due to the lack of decent used Hubs - someone has got to do it!!!

Also, Our Chain tensioner Assemblies now go out with Genuine style Rubber wheels - exactly as per back in the day! It is good to have the correct tooling to do this now...IMG_2450.JPG

Andy you have fast shipping too my 83/250 connecting rod kit is due here tomorrow. That's fast. Thanks my 500cc parts are next.

Thanks Guys! It is always nice to hear when we get it right!!!

Your custom is genuinely much appreciated.

Working hard on some great new stuff - more when I get back from the 2 day Vinduro in Muhlen - Austria the week after next...

Also, for those of you in Europe that order using your VAT number (to remove tax at source) - we have fixed the website issue that was stopping this from working! (note this does not affect orders from outside of Europe as tax is automatically removed depending upon the trade agreement that your country has with the UK anyway...).

Andy.

Andy the 83 / 250cr rod kit looks awesome. I seen the HVA Tape on the box first. I felt like a kid on Christmas morning.
Happy, happy as uncle Si would say on duck dynasty.

I have a cr500 crank I purchased used the rod isn't held straight it rotates a little on the lower bore and bearing. Not worth taking a chance need another rod kit.

Andy without the internet we only had Craig's husky club and a limited supply at what the old husky dealers had. Chances of doing what I'm doing( assembling basket cases) my chances would be slim to none.

Andy I received a cork screw with my order. You stumped me at first I had no clue what this high tech looking thing was at first. Then it dawned on me it's a cork screw a well made cork screw at that more Husqvarna HVA quality. Awesome.

My second order arrived, thanks more parts. Bill
