• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Well....it isn't a Husqvarna, but at least it isn't green.

Why get stuck in the same old rut every day, when you can get stuck in a nice one out in the desert?

I think with the time in the seat Dirtdame puts in, probably Wonder Woman! Good call

Besides...there's a lady on my local forum that goes by that name.

For putting in saddle time, I would be more of a Super Woman (too old to be Super Girl:doh:).

And that seat cover was built by HiFlite. (they make 'em for Husqvarna too)

And by the way, the bike in the picture is none other than Fentley, Bentley The KDX's evil stepbrother. A sad sack machine that I rescued back in January. Last Sunday was his maiden voyage after the initial restoration.

DD, the queen of the KX/KDX.
Hey quick note, dont follow the trench diggers, notice that slight variation line on trail right (view left) wide on the corner right of trench clean roll down and up through the dip.
(I shoulda used my own logic on the last hammerdown ride after getting stuck deep not once but 2 times trying to follow the deep groove in the mud banks)
will be in that zone this weekend, i hope!!!dirt still looks great! KDXs look good.

Yeah....I saw the good line off to the right after I had already wedged myself into the groove

. Luckily, a little side to side wiggling loosened the frame and pegs from it's grip and I was on my merry way. Will try to be there next weekend myself with either the TE or some sort of Kawi.
